Trying to love my WAW from a distance

My old thread has exceeded 100 posts, so I've learned that's usually time to start a new thread. I have tried to put a link to the old thread above.

I think I've mentioned it, but my W did sign a lease on an apartment last week. She is planning on moving out 5/7. Yikes!
I am not sure if this is going to help my DB efforts or whether it will hinder them. I am hoping it will help them.

As I sit here typing this at home, the D paperwork is still on the desk. So that either means she hasn't given it to anyone yet or she has, and someone's made a copy of it.

Had a great time with my S yesterday. We played mini-golf, and then we did the go-carts for at least 6 times. There were two crashes yesterday while we there, and both of them were my S and me. We then flew some RC airplanes in the evening. He said to me yesterday the best part of his day was that we spent time together. I really liked hearing that.

MY W is going to visit her parents today, so I will have all day today with my S again. Just incorporating my S in my GAL these last couple days. Both of us enjoy the benefit!

BTW - I have noticed a lot of folks on this forum who have lost weight. I can add myself to the ranks. I just got on the scale this morning. I have lost 17lbs. this year.

It sounds like you and your S are having a lot of fun together.

As for loving your W from a distance, it can be done.
H & I haven't lived together for 2 mos and it doesn't change my feelings any.
Just make sure you keep GAL and keep yourself busy.

So my S and I get home from our omnimax movie and my W is home. She tells me she is not going to take the dog with her to the apartment. The dog is very high energy and tends to be very defensive of my W. She is considering putting her down instead. This was a dog she wanted in the first place. I could try keeping her at the house, but with me alone, I don't want the responsibility. With me working full time and with other activities, it's not really fair to the dog. My S is devastated. I am saddened. What's a guy to do?

Humane Society. Maybe they can find someone to take the dog.

Yesterday didn't work out quite as planned. I ended up trying to put a new EGR valve in the car my W is driving. I sacrificed a lot of time, some skin, a couple tools, and some Liquid Wrench and still couldn't get the rear bolt off.
Finally, I ended up going out to eat with my S and going to see Tornado Alley at the Omnimax - we had a really good time there. We played Wii for a bit after we had the discussion about the dog.
I feel like a farmer somedays. I am planting seeds here and there hoping for a plentiful harvest. There are some days I just want to give up. I usually am able to bring myself back and remind myself what I'm fighting for and it's worth the fight. There are other days I'm just tired.

Yep that's where we got her in the first place. It may be the best option.

Tough day today. I got up, did some laundry, and cleaned the whole house, top to bottom. It was tough for a couple reasons - my W was packing stuff to move out and the other was she never really wanted this house because of the size - so cleaning it was humbling. I did admit so to her.
We had an Easter egg hunt inside with my S becuase it was raining all day. He enjoyed it.
We ended up later going out shopping for a laptop and new TV for my W. We went to dinner afterword.
She said it's been a really tough week for her, partly becuase of our talk on Sunday night. She said she really didn't want to have that conversation because of the pain it brought back.
Man, I am feeling a lot of pain today! Her pain AND my pain!
I just want to blow this whole thing up and start over with my W and S so badly!!!

I know it was tough for you today. I remember cleaning while she was preparing to leave to. I thought if she saw how hard I was working, she would pause for a minute.
