Private Intensive Sessions
Turn Your Marriage Around in 2 Days
A Word from Michele…
So, not only didn’t your therapist have enough time to offer suggestions, he or she didn’t even have sufficient time to truly grasp what was going on in your life! Plus, when time ran out, you were probably right in the middle of very emotional stuff. You went home feeling crappy. Really crappy. Not exactly what you bargained for.
Additionally, couples often complain that their therapists were just sounding boards, offering very little by way of specific suggestions about how to change.
No wonder couples often say they feel worse after their counseling sessions than when they walked through the door.
Sound familiar? I get it.
A Year’s Worth of Therapy in 2 Days
Most of these couples have serious, long-standing problems- constant arguing, anger, feeling completely disconnected. Often, one spouse is leaning towards divorce. Some have filed for divorce before I meet them. Many haven’t had sex for years or are in the throes of midlife crises. Almost always, there’s infidelity.
With 2 full days together, we have time to delve into the issues that have been divisive and hurtful. I help couples really speak from their hearts…and listen to each other, often for the first time.
I teach simple-to-understand skills that empower, inspire and heal. There’s nowhere to go, no alarm clock sounding. No work obligations. No kids tugging at sleeves. Just uninterrupted time to focus on their relationships, each other and find solutions.
In order to continue progress upon arriving home, couples leave with written plans detailing solutions and agreements made during the session. Follow-up consultations are also available.
Couples Who Benefit from Intensive Sessions are:
- on the brink of divorce or separation and disagree about the decision
- struggling with the crisis of an affair
- experiencing sexual desire problems and loneliness
- dealing with midlife crises
- constant arguing, anger issues, communication breakdowns, parenting conflicts, and illness
- leading busy lives and want immediate results rather than attend weekly sessions
- wanting a sense of closure about the past
- therapists and high-profile people requiring anonymity

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the right person at the right time, saying the right things that I needed to hear. If it weren’t for you telling me not to give up, we would have gotten divorced, and that would have been a tragedy.
Thank you, Michele, for being so brave and so strong in your crusade to save marriages. I thank God you were there for us.
In addition, I want you to know, Michele, that you have been a huge role model to me as a marriage counselor. Because of what I experienced in my own marriage, I now, with great conviction challenge couples to give it all they have. Because I know from my own experience the miracle that’s possible around the corner.”
Has There Been an Affair?
Michele has had extensive experience working with couples who are hurting after an affair. She has created a step-by-step program for healing from infidelity. Michele will help you explore the issues that have led to the current crisis, and guide you as you deal with difficult emotions arising from the betrayal and its aftermath.
Michele is directive and offers specific advice to both the betrayed and unfaithful spouse for working through the pain, understanding what happened, dealing with questions about the affair, rebuilding trust, and reconnecting emotionally and physically.
And because healing from infidelity takes time, Michele offers concrete tools for dealing with predictable triggers once you return home. You leave Boulder with a written, day-by-day plan for recovery and renewal. Also, since Michele believes in the importance of follow-up, she is available for additional intensive sessions as well as telephone consultations.
Is Your Marriage Sex-Starved?
One out of three couples struggle with a sexual desire gap where one spouse is longing for more physical touch and the other is simply not interested. Differences in sexual desire can lead to intense unhappiness in marriage. Feeling rejected, the higher desire spouse often gets angry and checks out emotionally. The lower desire spouse becomes hurt and fed up with the palpable anger and his or her emotionally absent partner. This typically leads to a relationship impasse that can last for years.
Based on her bestselling book and TEDx talk – The Sex-Starved Marriage- Michele Weiner-Davis has developed innovative ways to help couples have major breakthroughs in their marriages when a sexual divide has been the issue. She helps both spouses have greater understanding and empathy. Most importantly though, she guides people in sex-starved marriages to find solutions that work for both partners.

But My Spouse Won’t Work on Our Marriage!
In this case, I help both partners gain clarity about the role each person played in the breakdown of the marriage. If you leave a marriage without this insight and simply blame your spouse, you’re bound to repeat the same mistakes in the future.
Plus, even if you’ve been thinking about getting a divorce for years and believe you already understand the underlying issues that have gotten you to this point in your marriage, chances are, this is brand new information for your spouse.
Additionally, when children are involved, learning how to co-parent collaboratively is essential, regardless of what happens to the marriage. To accomplish this, spouses must make peace with each other. These intensive sessions can help couples move forward amicably and respectfully.
We did a two-day intensive with Michele Weiner-Davis, which gave both of us hope for the first time in more than two years. Our family will be forever grateful for the huge part Michele’s work played in keeping us together.”
