Additionally, when therapists feel they have hit major impasses, they refer couples to Michele’s 2-day intensive program to help them get “unstuck.” Michele consults with referring therapists to facilitate their on-going relationship with their clients when they return home.

In 1989, Michele and co-author Bill O’Hanlon’s groundbreaking book- In Search of Solutions: A New Direction in Psychotherapy- was published. This classic text for mental health professionals and graduate students outlined a guide to their innovative therapy model, Solution-Oriented Therapy.
Additionally, Michele has authored and co-authored articles in many professional journals including Family Process, The Journal of Marital and Family Therapy and The Psychotherapy Networker.
