Well, I did about 3.5 miles on the treadmill. I've had my berry-bannana smoothie, and I'm off to hit the shower.

A friend sent me one of those inspirational e-mails today. One of the last lines was:

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Very true for all of us here..............I think I'll add it to my signature.

Like the new sig Di. Love it.

I am cooking my lunch....chicken and rice. I use sodium free chicken broth....I am doing the no sodium/no sugar diet. Not following it exactly today, but getting ready for the rest of the week!.

Add some lemon to your chicken and rice. The Greeks love to use lemon in their recipes.

If I had some I would, but all I have is lemon pepper, which has sodium in it. It is amazing how much weight you can lose just cutting out salt and sugar. Drinking lots of water, and several small meals throughout the day.

I am looking at losing at least 3 pounds this week. That is my goal anyway!

I started the 3 day bird food diet today. So far it's been easy because I am still stuffed from overeating most of the weekend!

I had a pretty good day yesterday. AND I'm not as sore this morning as I thought I would be. I met with my academic teams yesterday, starting at 2:00 (since there was no school). That kept me busy busy busy, and no time to eat all in sight at the end of the day. I bought a ton of yogurt and am pulling that out when I feel like I need a treat. I know I need to focus on how much better I feel when I'm eating right and REMEMBERING that eating crap makes me feel WORSE...........good luck today everyone!

Well, I had that weak moment yesterday when I finished off some chocolate that I remembered was hidden away :(. But, I think the rest of the day was good. I had my berry bannana smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch, a couple snacks of rice cakes and then some of that Progresso (lo cal) soup and 1/2 cheese sandwich. I'm not trying to deprive myself of everything. I'm hoping to be able to stick to this better that way. I did my TV aerobics yesterday and an hour on the treadmill.

I am feeling down this morning, and really was trying to justify not doing the aerobics, but I shook it off and did it. It feels good to be able fight the emotions and wavering motivation.

Time for that smoothie.........

I must be honest. I did BAD yesterday. Breakfast & snack were OK but went to lunch with my brother that I hadn't seen in 4.5 yrs. (since mothers funeral). I didn't make the best of choices. I also made homemade spaghetti & meatballs & garlic bread for my brother and ate even though I really wasn't hungry. Didn't work out either.

Today is going better. Breakfast & snack was OK, thinking about salad for lunch. I'll go after work to work out.
