Happy Mother's Day, to all you sexy mammas!

I had breakfast in bed today. Um, I did have to go downstairs and cook it first, but the kids brought it up to me in a tray.

Sigh.

I received a beautiful delivery of flowers this morning. Very sweet from a guy that i have been on a few dates with. That was very nice of him. I opened the door, and said goodmorning and the delivery guy said to me, so How YOU doin'.

It made me laugh. It was just sooo Jersey.

Love it.

It is nice and sunny here today, even tho it is cool.

So going to enjoy a wonderful mom's day bbq at my parents house.

I have a great cigar to smoke ;\)

And, the kids have just been wonderful to me today. I can't ask for anything better.

Thank you for all the words of support and encouragment. I will put all of those people behind me. They are not worth my thoughts.

Have a great one peeps!

Happy Mother's Day Lissie!~

It is so nice when your kids are young and they do their best to show they love you. Yours are lucky to have a such a good mom. And I'm glad you have dinner plans and won't have to cook.

And the flowers are so much appreciated, no doubt. He sounds like a very thoughtful guy, Lis.

My day started with Blu (my kitten), jumping up to kiss me and snuggle and purr. Then Josh got up to bring me coffee in bed. He also fed the cats so I didn't have to. Ashley came home (she was at her boyfriend's house) and brought me a lovely card and my fav perfume spray (I had just run out). Then Josh told me to stay in bed with another cup of coffee while he made breakfast - Sweet!

Ashley was in Toronto 2 weeks ago and helped Ryan buy me a set of cereal bowls in my pattern (Fiestaware) and gave them to me today. Thoughtful...

My middle son, Brandon, just called to say "I love you". He had spent Friday, Sat morning here, filmed the dance recital for me and is making dvds for my students. Great guy!

Now I'm on my own. First time in a while I can say that and I'm happily relaxing and enjoying my day. Have leftovers (great ones) for dinner tonight.

A day to be happy for the joys in our lives.

Enjoy yours to the fullest, Lissie,

Love Barb

I glad you had a happy mom day.

I am so sorry to hear about what xH is up to concerning your kids. That sucks.

You have every right to be mad and every right to get your lawyer to nail his a$$. Your kids should not be over there spending the night, period. Even if they had their own rooms.

Hang in there. I am getting different but similar crap concerning the kids from my Ex. No OM yet - she just does not want to give them up for me to see them.

Thank God for the divorce decree.

We give them what they want yet they still continue to hurt us. And they hurt our kids. How can they be so cold and so blind not to see that the kids are in the middle of their actions????

Huggs. Say hi to BA for me.

Your Moms day sounds great!
I had to laugh at this, years ago when we went back to Boston ( where ex is from) we went to this cute very authentic Italian rest.

The waiter came up to us, and says,,,How YOU doin?
omg we laughed forever about that!
We still say it , I think Joey from Friends stole it from the guy at the rest. lol
