I am doing alot of reading, especially since I have next week off. Looking forward to it and to the FlyLady program.

Hey MWG, It wasn't clear to me if the parents did a 180. From what I can recall, they were neutral to me in the dream. Yes, good idea to pray for God to soften their hearts.

Interesting dream. I had fallen lightly asleep on the couch right before h left and it was a dream about h and something about how he is communicating. Not sure, I can barely remember.

Yes PH it is very important the understand how they communicate.

You sound better!
Hey glam, Could the dream be related to the dog issue? If your H isn't fully bought in to it or fully enthusiastic about the dog, it might be a warning sign to not get it. Sometimes they may not always want to show us their real feelings for fear of rocking the boat and then we mistakenly think they agree.

Yes, I am feeling better than a week ago. I need to really work on getting close to God.

BTW, do you know anything about the safety of medical hypnosis?

Dear PlentyHope,
It was good to read your message to me. So dear PH, if I've read correctly, did you spend some of your day with H and the boys? Was it a fairly good day? I hope so!

My mom was put under hypnosis by a family friend/doctor because she could not swallow pills. It seemed to work.

Not sure if this is the same thing.

Hello Laurie,

So nice to hear from you! Yes, I did spend a few hours at beg. of August with the boys and my H. It was a fairly good time, thanks. Awkward with my H since he gave the "never coming home" speech a month before that. This past Mon, he was very sweet to call to thank me for his BD card and text message.

I am still standing and standing even stronger than before and focussing on my walk with God.

I hope you are doing well.

MWG,
Yes this is the kind of hypnosis I mean. However, I do think the hypnotist does apply their beliefs in the way they hypmotize, so that could be a worry.

Dear PH,
I accidently ran across a woman today whom had been in one of my local Divorcebusting seminars a few years ago. At that time, it was not hopeful that her H would "come around". She realized that she needed to go to God for her patience, peace, and wisdom and to have Him help her decide how to make wise decisions. She also said it was a very lonely road - fighting for you M with no one around her to support her decision. Her solace was in taking everything to God to help her make even small decisions about how she should act in certain situations w/her H. She said the biggest thing He helped her with was to keep her heart soft enough to maintain a friendly relationship with him. It was not easy and it was a long road, but they are together. And God softened her H's heart as well. I pass that story on, hoping it will inspire you as it inspired me.

PH:

About the hypnotism.

As far as I know, there was nothing about beliefs in the procedure. He just hypnotized her and afterwards she was able to swallow pills.

Dear Laurie,
Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful story with me. I will remember it when I feel discouraged. And it has inspired me to take everything to God regarding my communication with my H.
Sending you a cyber hug.

Hey MWG,
I see. I think they can use statements for the hypnosis that come from their beliefs, e.g. saying that everyone was created good.
