The Lord will never give me more than I can handle and the rewards are rich indeed.

I agree with this, but don't you wish He didn't trust us so much?

Davidswife - I sure wish that :-). I know He knows what He's doing...but He sure challenges me to my fullest extent! But I guess we're the ones who accept His challenges also....

Sorry you're feeling under the weather and having a tough day. I know a few nights without sleep can make my emotions go haywire! Hope you get some rest tonight and feel better tomorrow.

Exactly. and btw, this time is not being wasted. ;\) I know you know that, and the results of this time are going to be amazing. You will be glowing so brightly from God's presence that we will have to close our eyes! ;\)

Don't be discouraged, let this be a time where God is allowing you to feel more emotions for your DH. I think missing someone can be good, as sometimes we can distance ourselves so much that we started wondering if we want them back at all. So, it is nice to hear that you miss him.

Crissy--

You are such a dear friend and I am so fortunate to have you and Amy in my life!

I was still feeling so gross tonight that the kids and I did not go to church. The last Wednesday of the month is typically all praise and worship for the service. Well, the kids and I did that at home. I loaded about an hour's worth of music into a playlist and a prayer from Jentezen Franklin to finish it off at the end. My spirit was lifted from it and seeing my babies sing praise to the Lord with true joy is unexplainable.

I am not discouraged, really, just sad. I miss him a lot. I know that I feel way better about the sadness than I did about the anger and annoyance I felt around the holidays.

DEFINITELY!!

I was listening to a teaching yesterday and the speaker said that when we are able to question why God has ordained us for a task and we do not consider ourselves worthy of it but take it up anyway, we are truly humbled before the Lord. It was an interesting way to look at the idea.

Fit--

I am hoping to head to bed here I the next hour or so. I need to go pick-up the kitchen and dining room before I do, though. I am taking some cold and cough medicine to see if I can get some sleep tonight. Hopefully the kids won't need me to be functioning at 3am.

Hey Sis...

Sorry to read you are feeling under the weather. You know as well as I do that is when we are at our weakest that the Devil is at his strongest, resist your thoughts of sadness and rejoice in the strength of the Lord it is at our weakest moments that we must realize the Lord is in control even if we can't see it.

Get some sleep and much needed rest, put yourself first for a bit and heal...stay your path

Peace be in your heart

Bro
