Hi SMW,

I was single when in the navy but will never forget the way families reunited when our sub would return. It was something that stays with you. I hope this is great for you!

Sis...

Interesting email and that's all I will give it. The boat of speculation is nothing but a sinking anchor. Glad you have chosen not to read into it. As the backwoods hillbilly said 'it is what it is'.

It's time now to put all you have learned and become into practice this is 'your' test now to show your commitment to the one who has been there for you.

Glad you had a good Easter. Hopefully with time your D and her friends hearts will ease in sadness for their loss.

Bro

Kenn--

After spending my entire life as either a Navy brat or a Navy spouse, I am STILL a sucker for homecomings. I love the excitement, the reunions, the tears, all of it. I cannot wait until Saturday. Thanks for popping in!

GOOD LORD! Look who got scared out of the woodwork! Cute sailing analogies! LOL I did not read into the email, just gave me a pause for a few minutes as I mulled it over. I did think it was interesting enough to share, though. You and Mike are right--It is what it is.

It is not a matter of putting anything into practice. This is who I am now. No more practice left, I am becoming the "real deal". God is faithful and He will be there on the pier, to guide me, strengthen me, comfort me, and sustain me. I will be better than okay.

The girls are getting better. It was a real blow to them.

Just stopped by real quick to see how the homecoming was coming along. Looks like only a few more days! Keep your confidence! Keep being the new you! Show DH who you've become!

Thanks Sam! Want to come hang curtain rods for me? My little list is more time consuming than I thought it was!! Oh well, I will have ALL of the curtains up tonight. My mom ironed more than half of them for me, so that was a HUGE help!

Off to take D9 to her counseling appointment.

SMW, We will be praying for you and the homecoming. Know that you have a whole army of prayer warriors standing besides you on that pier to support you. You can handle it.
Cheers

Hey SMW,

Just stopping by to say hello. I can just imagine how busy you are with all of last minute "to do" things before tomorrow. I remember the last time I was at the Pier there watching the IWO Jima pull in. A very exciting and electrifying experience. GOD Bless!
