Kat: For a long time I just felt comfortable here and I had my friends here. Lately, there are so many new "faces", I feel that when this thread ends I will be moving over to surviving. I do suppose that your friends find you where ever you are but I do feel that it is time to move.

Where do you feel you belong? I think most people here are still trying to save their marriages but Karen and Yoyo are pretty much done with that and they are still here for now. Everyone has their own time line to get to where they are going. I would be happy to see you where ever you decide to go.

Don't forget about me, I'm done also, I wasn't very good at DBing. Let me know when you move, and don't worry about wanting some time to yourself, we all need time to ourself, I've had the kids for 2 weeks straight and I'm looking forward to one full day to myself,

FYI, I try to get as much done housework laundry etc done before the kids leave, then when their gone, I can just relax or work on something just for me, gardening, or whatever.

I'm still here lurking

I don't post as much as I used to, but I too am thinking it's time for me to find another home on the forum. I am thinking Surviving, but also maybe they should put thriving in there. Ultimately, divorce is not we are after or we would have never joined this site, but I do think you realize when it's time to take care of Kat's needs. You are doing that. Think I may move over there tomorrow. I'm tired today, first day back at school.

I am as I have mentioned in a good if not strange place. Back around Mother's Day a spa was going around drumming up business by doing 4 services for $47.00. I thought why not. Anyway I have just started using them. Got my hair cut last week(back to shoulder length)and had a massage on Tuesday.

It was only supposed to be a chair massage but the gal for some reason thought it was an hour at first and put me in a room. She said even at 20 minutes it would be easier to work out some of the tension. I had to take off my Lady of Lourdes Medal. she asked me about it. Then she said you believe in Angels. I do. I mentioned cardinals as well and she had a connection to those as well. I asked her about reiki and she said she could try that with me too.

Told her some about ex but that I only got upset now with the way he is with the kids. She focused around my heart. I said you are trying to heal my broken heart and she said yes. It felt as if she needed to tell me something, so I asked if she was psychic and she said yes. I said please tell me what you need to. It was a very neat but a slightly strange experience. She told me not to worry about the guy I like. He loves me but he needs to work out some of his own things first. She said I knew him from before and that is why we don't need a lot of time to get in sync. She said we were going to end up together in perhaps a year or two. 47(perhaps it is the magic age!) lol

I just felt so much more at peace. She said she always is trying to hold things in and she was so grateful that we were in tune with each other.

Just some thoughts I will keep in the back of my mind.;)

I'm a bit worried about D9's new school sitch, this sounds silly but it cheered me up a bit when I found out their mascot (which they have all over the place). Cardinals!!!! Karen

Nothing exciting going on and really that is fine at the moment. How cool is that about the mascot??!! Cardinals are beautiful. I just can't help relating them to my grandmother. I may be seeing the same movie as Yoyo tonight except with 3 teenage boys since they "need" me to get in. In one month S16 will be 17 and as long as he goes with his friends that are also 17 we are good.

Hmmmm...3 dates. LOL The teenage boys may "need" you to get in, but they must think a lot of you to want you to go. Pretty cool...not all teens want their parents around for anything. So it shows you are doing a great job parenting!

Sorry, I didn't mean to skip over you Maria. The story goes that a young simple girl, Bernadette had gone to gather firewood with her sister and a friend. She was sickly and had to stop before her sister. She was near a grotto and a lady appeared to her. The lady asked her to come again a number of times. Some people in the town thought she was crazy, some thought she saw the Virgin Mary. Bernadette only called her the lady.

The Lady directed Bernadette to drink from a spring in the grotto but there wasn't one there. Bernadette dug a bit and found some water and sipped it. Over night a trickle of water came and then a spring. This water is said to have healing powers. Many people make a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France to drink from the spring and prayed to be healed of their afflictions.

Anyway the medal shows Bernadette and the "Lady of Lourdes". There is a book and a movie of the same name, "Song of Bernadette". Bernadette's body can still be viewed as if she is sleeping in the city of Nevers, France. She has been canonized as a Saint. No, I am not Catholic but I love the story and believe in her.

Thanks Yoyo. Yeah, it does feel good that the kids like to hang out here and be with me. They don't treat me as a pain or anything, so I must be doing something right!

Busy day ahead, have to work on the frig and mowing. So much for a day off!
