One of my best friends nearly died of sarcoidosis and my aunt had it also. Good grief!

He was very young, right? It's more rare in younger people from what I understand. I'm so sorry. Don't feel guilty about it though, it really was his responsibility to get to a doctor and have the pain checked out right? You can't take that on yourself.

A real-life grown up man? Say it isn't so! I have rarely met such a rare creature. You are smart to get that one locked up quickly before it escapes. grin JK of course.

The Little Church of the West is so beautiful. It'll be fun to have all your friends around. Do you know where you will be staying yet? I can tell you, the suites at the Wynn are beyond spectacular even if you only get it for your wedding night (very expensive but tres chic!).

Well, it actually occurs mainly in people aged 20-40, he was 34. It is only fatal in about 5% of the people that have it. He did go to the doctor, they didn't find it. They just kept giving him pain pills. I found a notebook where he had listed different doctors for "alternative pain management" because he didn't like taking the pills. I actually thought from the way he looked and the way he was just sleeping all the time that he had gotten hooked on some kind of pill or drug. When my mom called me to tell me what happened my first thought was that he overdosed. I even had so much anger towards him for doing this to himself...so I thought. I thought that right up until we got the autopsy results. To my surprise there were no drugs/alcohol in his system. Now I just think when he was acting strange why did I automatically go to thinking he was doped up rather than sick? He had never done anything like that before, so why did I think it? Anyway, just some issues I am having.

Anyway, yep a bonified grown man..with a job. They do exist! I would go as far to say that he is the polar opposite of xh. I am not sure where we are staying. I originally wanted to stay at the Bellagio but I don't know if I want to pay that much more just for a hotel. I am kinda leaning towards MGM now, but I will check out the Wynn. I haven't done much planning, but hey that's the point when you go to Vegas right?

Wynn is right up there in price with Bellagio. For a compromise between them, stay at the Venetian. All rooms are small suites and beautiful!

Michelle sure knows her Vegas! wink

It's hard to know that you jumped to conclusions and were wrong, but at least you were honest enough to consider the possibility (a lot of people would have denied it even if it were true). I'm sure that he doesn't hold a grudge because of it, so you shouldn't either.

I'm a travel agent! I better know something about it. Of course, it is one of my favorite places to go too so that helps.

Mishka does know her Vegas! I didn't know you were a travel agent...how did I miss that?? I looked at the Venetian and it was the highest of all three. I am starting to lean toward MGM..and ideas about that one Mishka??

MGM is fine. It's at the far end of the strip but it's still convenient. Great pool with very nice cabana's. The rooms are pretty standard as far as hotel rooms go. Your typical box. If there are any concerts or boxing matches scheduled during your stay it could be a real zoo.

Oh yeah, if you want to hit up a FABULOUS buffet while you are there, make sure to go to the one at The Planet Hollywood Casino. Marvelous! I used to always hit the Rio but this one was far superior. Go to brunch and they will bring on the champagne in LARGE quantities. smile The sushi was awesome! As a matter of fact, check into staying there. It's an ultra-modern posh hotel with some very interesting features.

I'm amazed the Venetian was higher than the Wynn. That is pretty rare. They must be near capacity for your dates already. It's very romantic with the gondola rides and whatnot so draws a lot of honeymooners.

Hmmmm....now I am torn on what I want to do. I still have some time, but I don't want anything to be booked up. I have only been one time before and we stayed at Circus Circus because it was cheap but I hated it because it was so far from everything else. Is Planet Hollywood on the strip? The venetian was more on expedia, that is the only place I have really looked for prices.

Planet Hollywood is in nearly the middle of the strip. Perfect location to everything.
