Guess I need to start a new thread. Going out shopping today to grab my last couple of gifts.

I am soooo looking forward to starting a new, happy, as relatively drama free as I can make it YEAR!

Kids will be gone after Christmas w their dad (boo),but I have fun plans for NYE and plan to keep myself occupied. Been having a blast with the kids lately baking, making gingerbread houses, and playing Rockband. LOL Trying to make the most of our break before they leave.

I like the positive attitude. I was beginning to think you had dropped off the boards and I saw your new thread in the active topics just a minute ago.

I myself have been invited to 3 different NYE events and am trying to decide which to attend or attend each for a bit. I hope you have a great new year. How long will your kids be gone?

Kevin

Thank you F! I try. grin

Kevin, anything fun anywhere, or people's houses? I was looking and trying to decide what we were doing a couple days ago. Dallas is having lots of fun parties and events if you wanna pay the price for the tickets! I decided to stay in and try some new recipes, games, a little champagne..Way cheaper and less crowded!!

Kids will be gone from the 26th through the 2nd I think. Can't really get clear answer on when he's bringing them back.

Cool. Nothing wrong with that. I have done that many of NYE's with W and we always found a way to make it a fun night at home.

I have some friends that I have known for about 9 years that have invited me over to their house in Plano for a small get together with a few other people there that night.

Then I have some friends that I made at the north texas divorced and single group meetup that have invited me to their NYE party in Plano. So far I think there is 30 people attending that one. I am good friends with one of the assistant organizers for that one.

I also have a group of west coast swing dancing friends that are throwing a NYE/birthday party for a friend at ww fairfields in richardson that I have been invited to attend.

So that is the options for me. I am looking forward to it. I'm still not sure which one I will go to as I don't see myself driving to all 3 that night. But I will be somewhere taking in the new year.

Merry Christmas,

Kevin

IRMAC,

I'm glad to hear those things about you and your H. Hopefully it will start to come together. And I am glad you are doing well.

I am pretty avaiable this weekend and Monday and Tuesday if everyone or even some want to try and get together. Otherwise it probably won't be until after new years.

Have a Merry Christmas IRMAC and we will talk more later.

Kevin

Hey guys!! IRMAC, no such thing as jacking my thread. smile Anytime!

Kevin, wow you have lots of options! Maybe you should just party it up and go to all three! Party animal! LOL

Actually this weekend my kiddos leave Sat morn and I don't have any plans til Monday that I know of. So let me know what y'all are thinking.

IRMAC- Hey, no big thing about age girl! My best friend at school (work) has kids my age. I usually tend to relate to older people.

SNOWING TODAY!! It was so warm yesterday that we didn't even need jackets. lol Only in TX guys. Ugggg I've gotta get the kids to exMIL's house tonight for Chrismas Eve. About an hour and a half away. Roads should be fun.

MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS!!
