Hello! I was in Newcomer's and decided to move over here after figuring out that my H is in MLC. Here are the links to my threads-

I've been checking out the resources and am going to start reading the success stories soon. Have gotten lots of good advice over in newcomers but feel this is where I need to be now!

The advice is different here. Not as confrontational with the MLC Spouse.

CF,

Welcome to this board. The advice is still DB but as Jack said it is a little different. There are great people on this board and a wealth of wisdom. You can put a link on your thread in newcomers to come here and then ask a moderator to lock your thread(hit the notify in the corner and tell then what you want), if you wish. I agree that you are in the right place now.

Now you have to work on you!

You might change your mind. : )

Work on yourself and you cannot go wrong.

And while pity parties are ok and expected, I'm not nice if they last too long.

CW-

Welcome to the big leagues. We do things a little bit differently, but the end goal is the same. I think you know that by now though.

You will get lots of good advice and the necessary 2x4 pity party busting....but overall we will share the best of us as long as you are giving the best of you.

How was your day?

LFW-

I called a realtor today to ask for a market value analysis on our house. He is coming Friday. I believe that we owe more on it than we could sell it for in today's market especially if we had to sell it "as is"...a lot of unfinished projects here. My L recommended I do that after I told her that I didn't think that the kids and I would be able to stay here in the event of a divorce. I guess it just made this VERY real to me. (as if H leaving and filing D didn't make it real enough)But now, we are talking about possible moving and selling the only home that the kids have ever lived in...so it did get me down some today. Anyway, had my cry and doing good now!!!

CW-

The business side of this always stinks....but that is the nature of the beast.

So what needs to be done in the house? Are these projects you can handles yourself and turn into growing experiences? Sometimes just painting a room can be a growing experience of accomplishment and change in scenery.

Work today should keep my mind and hands busy!

Anxiously awaiting the books I ordered to arrive...

Men IN Milife Crisis by Jim Conway and
When a Mate Wants Out by Sally and Jim Conway

Also, need to start reading the threads of the people here and see the beginnings...
