Hi nvr2me

Our stories are very similar. So are our current circumstances.

H wants us both. Mine has been saying this since the beginning....which for me was Sept 08.

I'll hang here with ya!

Well, I go to work for one day and miss a boatload.

Jack, are you bored? Renaming people?

I do like the name you suggested though...

To the spelling Nazi,

Do you see it? You made a spelling faux pas yourself. Tee Hee...

I even checked the dictionary just to be sure, you seem to have created a whole new word...

Poe,

Nice to meet you smile

If, when, you start to feel attacked or upset by things we might say, please go back to Jack's first post to you, because none of us here are trying to inflict pain on another.

Please also do your best to remember, this is not a quick or easy thing, and it takes time.

If you H is making baby steps, they are his to make. Some people in MLC DO get stuck, and there is little we can do to help them.

The best thing we can do is keep ourselves from getting stuck right along with them.

Not much more to say at the moment...

Have a wonderful day...

Poe,

You were ALWAYS going to survive...unless you were one of those weak willed clingy co-dependant types...and that would have been your weak sauce choice to end it over something as stupid as someone else having an MLC.

However I am glad that you have choosen to THRIVE. : )

PS - Happy Birthday.

Do not...DO NOT be upset if he doesn't acknowledge it. Enjoy it yourself.

Happy Birth Day

Go to a Bakery, the best in town and buy a little something nice for yourself.

Just do it, no excuses.

H sent flowers w/ card signed "love name" Wed. so I could enjoy them here at the beach this week. He called tonight to wish happy bd. Ticked the florist delivered a day late. Casual talk @ general stuff like his trip woes(travel for work) and kid stuff. Seemed guilty/dismayed?? that I was alone today.

On the lighter side I did convey that I had a great day at beach. Who needs you? He loves it here and told me half choked up that he was going to miss me when I saw him the day before I left. So that's why he spent time w/ OW that weekend and hasn't contacted me all week, right?

Got phone calls from all 3 kids, and email from other friends and family today, so that was comforting.

Treated myself to a sundae at the ice cream store. Not much on the island for bakery stuff, Jack, but did take you up on your suggestion!

Makes total sense doesn't it? LOL

This is the most illogical thing you will ever experience in your life.

It is a good example of the confusion that they live with while in crisis.
