I don't know why, but over the last couple of days I am having a lot of issues with this site reacting V - E - R - Y S - L - O - W - L - Y !!!!

I can type entire paragraphs pbefore anything shows-up on the screen. My IE also has a tendency to lock-up when I have this site open.

Another problem I started having after the scrubbing was that when I quote or reply to someone else post, the posting box jumps up to the top, so I can't see what I am typing, except when I hold down a key. This is very frustrating.

Just thought I would let someone know. Actually, It just started happeneing now again and I am not replying to amything. Makes it hard to ID typos.

Please lock this thread and start a new one. It is too long and slowing down the boards.

I'm surprised to learn that it's only the "scrubbed" board which had problems. For the past several years, I've found there were days when it was moving so slowly that it might take 20 minutes or more of being frozen before a thread (or even the site) could be accessed. Don't tell me I was the only person to experience this!

I didn't really have too much trouble before. It happens all the time now for me.

Have you tried running IE in compatibility mode? It's the icon of the broken page near the address bar. If I'm not in compatibility mode the board is all screwed up for me.

Will try compatibilty mode. I use Firefox at home and don't have as many problems.
