For those who haven't followed my sitch from the beginning, I thought for many years that all of my unhappiness was related to being overweight. I had gastric bypass in 2009 and have lost 155 lbs. While I am happy with my decision to do it because I do feel healthier, it also wasn't the answer to my problems as I had hoped for it to be.

For me, the weight was a symptom of something deeper.

So keep loving yourself TG. If you want to make changes in your life, do it for you and nobody else.

I totally agree with you, TG. And I think "narcissism" hits it right on the nose - the more I investigate the true narcissistic personality, the more lightbulbs about my STBX go on over my head.
