I have been trying to pull myself out of this not so PMA... Kept myself quite busy today. Got a bunch of cleaning done, laundry, took the recycling to the recycle place, even washed the car despite it being about 100 degrees out again today!!!! I decided to relax at home tonight and watch tv, I turned on Lost in Space (there wasn't anything else good on) and thought it was hilarious to see the episode was called The Dream Monster- an alien was attempting to steal all the emotions from the Robinsons. It was an interesting episode. When the alien was collecting their emotions they seemed to go into an indifferent fog..... And of course at the end of the episode when they get their emotions back they come out of the fog and are commenting on how they aren't sure what had happened to them. Anyway, just thought I would share that with everyone. Goodnight all. smile

Glad to hear you got stuff done. I am struggling to get anything done. Lost in Space was one of my favorite TV shows as a kid. Darn I am old!

LOL Wendy, you are only as old as you feel. wink

Not much to report on the home front. Last night H did come back and tell me he would be leaving really early in the morning, so he would try not to disturb me. I thanked him for telling me. I thought that was nice of him, since I had been getting grrr grumpy I'm mad at you attitude the last few days.

Otherwise, for all the followers, the toothbrush is still back on the far side of the sink. LOL

hrm,
That toothbrush sure moves around a lot, doesn't it? If this were happening to me, my sense of humor can be wicked, I would purchase one and make it a matching set, i.e., side by side. I would be curious to seeh is reaction. But, that's me.

Sounds like things are status quo for now. Try to enjoy your day. It's another hot one here w/a threat of severe storms later this afternoon.

Ah Snodderly, I knew there was a reason I liked you. We have the same sense of humor.

Hrm, that is so funny about the episode of Lost in Space.

You are doing wonderfully, keep going.

Thanks Brookie!

Snodderly I've considered putting my toothbrush next to his on the sink ledge! LOL Oh the joys of the man-child!

I have decided there are 2 classes, if offered, I would need to take: Detachment 101 and the Art of Being Mysterious. I could still use help in these two areas!

Hi there hrm!

I'm new to the board, and have been reading various threads.

Yours made me laugh my ass off.

I can totally relate with some of the crap you have been putting up with. My H can rotate between being a 41 yr. old man to a snotty 12 yr. old girl to an angry male teenager. It's so much fun!

I actually heard him tell someone to "SHUT UP!" (said in valley girl voice) while talking on the phone. I had to catch myself because I'm sure the look on my face when hearing him talk like this was one of annoyance and disbelief.

Oh, and of course according to him, MY perspective is off. Riiight.

I would love classes on detachment and being mysterious. My latest being mysterious trick is to pretend I'm texting (he is constantly texting. And I do mean constantly). I just type things on my iPhone notepad or in my calendar, but he doesn't know that. Funny thing, when I do, he always asks me what I'm doing. I thought he didn't care...

Anyway, I enjoy reading your posts. Laughing sure as hell beats crying. It's good to know I'm not the only one going through this crap.

Hello Takevowsserious, and welcome to our really crappy club! On the up side, our crappy club has some of the finest people in membership! smile I'm glad you are finding the humor in my thread! I try to find the humor in things, it's way better then being a crying mess on the floor (but hey, we all still have those days!), sometimes what they say or do is just so unbelievable there is nothing to do but laugh!

LMAO, I'm picturing a grown man saying shut up like a valley girl!!

Of course your perspective is off, in Crazytown nothing that makes any sense in Normalville will do! lol

LOL does he do the phone flipping too?? Heaven forbid we see the top secret messages!

I haven't spoken to H since Sunday evening... been going as dark as possible in the same house. Also stayed out till almost 1am last night, and got up early to go to work today, so threw in a couple of curves. I'm getting ready to leave for Philly here in a few minutes, a friend is auditioning for the Biggest Loser and she asked me to go along with her for moral support! How could I say no! Sure I'll go on a 3 hour car ride and stay the night in Philly, awesome, time away!!! *happy dance* So I left a note on H's room door, it reads, "I won't be home tonight." Since we made the agreement long ago if one of us wouldn't be home for the night we would let the other know. Real mature of him, I know wink.

Toothbrush, still on the far side of the sink. Also, this week he is wearing his big boy deodorant (Speed Stick), so the Axe is sitting on the shelf till the next cycle.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!

Don't you wish at times we could videotape them so they could see how they're acting? Of course couldn't show it to them now, because their perspective would tell them they were NORMAL!

The texting drives me insane. He will hurry up and hide his phone screen if I get within a five ft. radius. Hey, maybe they work for the CIA or something? In my H case, there is an OW who used to be a good friend of mine. I stress the words USED TO BE. He used to make fun of her to me about her weight and long nose hair. Apparently, that's what he finds hot these days!!!

I love your commentary on the Axe deodorant. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I LIKE being an adult. Who the hell wants to go back to being a teenager anyway???

Have fun in Philly. Let HIM worry and wonder about you for a change!
