Starsky please quote me 'cos I sure didn't believe it UNTIL I re-read my posts from ages gone AND had the FACT told to me again by a mate who was personally quizzed at leangth by my W!!!!!!

I PRMICE you guys and gals on a stack of bibles that your spouse DOES find out about you and they DO notice what you're up too. It doesn't matter how close or how far you are apart. It DOES happen. And I'm SO okay with this because I know what she's going to hear.

THAT'S why you need to work on yourself, do your 180's, act "as if" the whole 9 yards. It WILL be noticed.

Whoop whoop :-)))))

Hiya Mac,

That link took me to the top of p. 7 of that thread, and there was no e-mail on the top of (or any other part) that page? confused

Scroll up or go to the very first entry on page 1. It's there ;-)

Well that was the first day of two weeks leave smile

W arrived home at 3ish as normal. I talked to her about the locked bedroom door and got a stream of "no won't leave it open. It's my personal space. Etc"

I said if she wouldn't leave it open I would have make arrangements.

Then this text message……

Please do me a favor stay out of my room. This is my private space. I don't go scratch around in your room and invade your privacy. I will get a court order against you. Thank you.

What is she smoking? What's this very firm stance about its her personal space??

Trying not to figure this out but drat it's difficult. Any pointers appreciated.

Mac ~

I am backkkkkkk smile smile It has been a long, emotional past few days and I am glad to be home. I see you are finding your backbone... Good job!

As for the "locked room," my ex tried that with me and I would just go and unlock it. I refused to be locked out of ANY room in my own house. You want to keep secrets? Do it where my curiosity won't get the better of me lol

((((Hugs))))

That or remove all your doors on the interior rooms of your house. There will be no secrets in your home.

Yay Serenity!!!

Yup. Backbone is in place and fully functional. So much so that I'm going to unlock the damn door. Court indeed!

Waiting for tomorrow when I can get a locksmith in with a big bunch of keys so I get a duplicate. I know what the excuse will be - keeping the dogs off the bed. Yeah right. I'm going to make sure I'm up and around when she gets back from netball for another discussion starting with "I've decided". I'll leave it to you lot to fill the blanks in wink 'Nuff of this and now some of that.

Yay Serenity!!! I know I've done that already but it makes me feel sooooooo good. And you know me so well. On a scale of 1 to 100 I 'recon I'm on my way to a 90+

I'm SO happy you started with TWO smile
You deserve it sweetpea.

Still want to know WHY she's so protective of a room tha she uses 2 nights out of 7. Not the contents, the entire room. There's got to be some scientific answer to this. Buggered if I know what. Oh - final thought that I've just thunk - it's the only thing that she thinks IS hers.

Very busy day. Vacuumed the house. Cleaned sink of dishes. Washed windows. Cleared front gutter of stacks of rubble (and the odd grass growth!), two loads of washing. Three calls from work and two emails (last two are par for the coarse). Then the first chat followed closely by a dignified departure to visit a friend after the buildup of steam from the W.

Oh - and one of the calls was from an old friend which my W heard every word. No names mentioned so I'm sure the W antennas were twitching. She was not best pleased with my happy demeanour! Tough.

So that was mine. Now pooped and settling in for sausage and mash and some relaxing tv - including Top Gear USA! I'll leave some food for the W in the fridge with a note. She can eat it or the doglets will get a treat tomorrow.

Serenity - so good to see you back. No idea why you had the break and I'm not going to pry!

LOL... I sent you an email letting you know before I left town Thursday, but apparently you did not get it. It isn't prying.. I was off making history wink

As of Friday, I am officially the first white female preacher in my Church and 2 years from being ordained. laugh

I had to be presented to the Bishop and meet some of the officials from the other Churches in our conference...

It was a nice break, but very emotional.

((((Hugs)))))

PS ~ Yay for the decision on the locksmith!!

Serenity I'm sooooooooooo HAPPY for you. Well done and from what I've experienced, very well deserved. If you ever need a letter of commendation, I'm your man!!!!

Didn't get your email but I see in your post that you reckoned I was in good hands. You have no idea just how right you were. Thanks folks!!!

Sausage and mash was lovely by the way. I highly recommend it wink

Serenity one final thing - does this mean I will see you in the next Guinees Book of Records! smile

((((Well done hon))))
