atta boy. I did the same thing. The freedom and the amount of choices were overwhelming at 1st. You begin to enjoy your time alone and freedom. Wish I could salsa but been told I have two left feet. My GF loves to dance so we do it once in a while. The fishing thing oh yeah baby. The weather hasn't cooperated up here but I think this weekend should be good. There have been stories of Stripers that are keepers and Blues should be around this weekend. Have blast

I checked the weather channel. It is going to be cold and rainy all week. Good thing I am not doing much outside. Drinking and barbecue on Thursday may have to move to a local bar & grill.

Winds for Sat are predicted at 11 mph. That is pretty windy for kayak fishing on the lake. At least there is no rain planned. I have not gone kayaking since all this nonsense started over 2 years ago.

I can't believe how excited I am about getting a week to myself. I have been forcing myself to GAL, but my heart has not really been in it. Over the last couple of weeks, it just feels like something has changed.

Last week wore me out more than I thought. It was a lot of fun, but I have no plans on making it a habit. My legs are still tired.

My sister bought me a print/framing of a picture of my choice. Tonight, I am going to take our first family photo without my ex. It feels strange to even think about. But, life moves forward.

I think I may have started dating.

I have been going out dancing a lot. I meet a lot of woman. After dancing a few weeks ago a bunch of us went to a diner for burgers and beer. I was sitting next to a woman making small talk and she mentioned that she would like to go kayaking one day. I told her that I like kayaking, have a couple and live by the water.

She said that she would really like to go kayaking. I felt a little uncomfortable and changed the subject. About a week later I was dancing with her again. After, she reminded me that she wanted to go kayaking. I explained that I was recently divorced and was not dating. She said that she understands and that it wouldn't be a date. She just wanted to go kayaking.

I didn't know what to say, so I said OK. Well, she came over my house today and we went out on the lake. It was a beautiful day and we had a good time. Afterward, we went out to dinner. It was really nice. It felt a lot like a date.

Moving forward one step at a time.
