Same boat here. WAW has several times chosen OM over her kids. It's up to her to mend and take responsibility. I will not bad mouth W but I also won't defend.
I do not bad mouth H, when he missed my sons graduation, so he could move into his new apartment. I did blurt out, "and why couldn't he reschedule?" I mean he is paying movers. You can't reschedule a graduation.
It's so frustrating of course my grad said it was fine. So I keep my mouth shut. Smile and nod, then cry myself to sleep!
I miss him, the old him. Not this person, that's what I have to keep in check.
