Sounds like a good plan to me. Meanwhile, she may return your calls.

Thanks. I'm not sitting around with my phone waiting for that to happen though. Maybe she will. You never can tell what they'll do next.

Something interesting just happened. Nothing major, but she had to at least think of me for a second. I gave the place I volunteer at my W's cellphone number in case of emergencies. The guy that runs it got my number and hers mixed up on the form so he called her looking for me. He only had to look up my number because he dropped his cellphone in a puddle earlier this week. It's strange how things like that work out. Two things came of it though. First she now knows that I still care enough to put her as my emergency contact and two she had to think of me for a second. Like I said, nothing major and nothing to get excited about. Just thought that I would share...

Peace,
B

Nothing better than the WAW getting a reminder of you without you being the initiator of the reminder. Just my opinion. It cannot be negative.

She called...
\:\)

Thanks to everyone who convinced me to wait.

It wasn't a long conversation. She said she was just calling to say hello. I almost didn't answer it but I couldn't resist. \:D I was happy and upbeat and told her about what was going on in my life. She didn't offer much as to what she had been up to and I didn't pry. She sounded like death warmed over though. She told me she only sleeps a few hours a night. I wanted to ask her why the eff she stopped talking to me, but that wouldn't have been very fruitful. So, I let the last 12 days slide...

Anyways, I just thought that I would share. I know that I shouldn't allow her to affect my PMA, but I sure to feel a boost when I talk to her...

i'm happy she called. Sounds like she's been stressed alot. that's probably why she hadn't called. I'm sure if she just didn't want to talk to you, she wouldn't have called at all...

there is nothing wrong with letting a positive step boost your PMA!! that just shouldn't be the only thing. \:\)

Hey B...ok...don't kill me for asking this, but do you think your W is at all upset that you didn't reach out to her over that time? Maybe you did (I think you said you left a message) and she didn't respond. Just the fact that you said she sounded like death warmed over...

I don't mean to rock the boat by suggesting you should have done something different...I think you did the right thing holding back and I'm not questioning it. I'm SO GLAD that she called you and that you have that PMA back. But I was just wondering if you thought that was a a possibility.

Anyway...did you guys talk about her plans for Christmas?
J~

Thanks Ann. It did sound like she's been stressed. She didn't really tell me much, so I don't know why, but it sure sounded like it on the phone.

I couldn't ever be mad at you Jenny! \:\)
I did try calling her a couple times and left her a message once. Now that she's made contact again, I'll try calling her again sometime soon. I feel like I'm walking on an invisible moving line and bad things happen if I get too far off one way or the other. She didn't allude to the fact that she wished I called her more. In the past if she's wanted me to call more she'll ask my why I haven't called.

We didn't talk about Christmas plans at all. So there's a reason for me to call her later. \:\) She did tell me that she bought me a present. \:\) \:\) I told her thank you, that's very kind and that I appreciate it.

Thanks for the input ladies!
B

You might have already said, but are you getting her something? Maybe you guys could meet up Christmas eve for lunch (think that was mentioned before) and exchange gifts? Just an idea! \:\)
