I love you, and your socks don't match!
Might need to take them off!

A very nice day today, though it is clouding up now. It is supposed to rain tomorrow. Watched S13s soccer game today, they were overmatched from the beginning, but it was 1-1 in the middle of the second half. Then they ran out of gas, it ended 5-1.

W is working today, I'll probably do some laundry!

Tomorrow we are going to the Melting Pot with ILs to celebrate S18 getting $15,000 worth of scholarship over four years. That will be very helpful!

Good job S18! How did the celebration go?

Now, let me ask, when you do laundry- you also fold it and put it away, right?

We had a good time celebrating! The kids had a great time.

Uhhh, well, the laundry gets put away eventually! That's actually a significant peeve! I need to get the kids more involved in that part of it!

The desert had rain yesterday and last night! Maybe the drought is ending? Fingers crossed!

We had a good time at the Melting Pot! Way too expensive to do more than one every fiver years or so, but the kids really had fun. There were seven of us there (five of us, and W's parents), and I was sitting as far from W as I could, I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but it worked out that way, and it probably was good. Now I need to convince S18 to actually apply for scholarships! This one was more or less automatic, based on grades and SAT scores, and acceptance into the school. Which ought to convince him that he could get more. But is is 18, and lazy that way... We'll see!

(((Jeff)))

Just popping in to say Hello! Do I need an umbrella to visit?

The Melting Pot sounds like fun. Excuse my ignorance, but is it a fondue restaurant? ;\)

I don't think you'd need a brolly. (I know a little English!)Especially by March. Except, perhaps, for shade!

Here is a link to an article about the rain Sunday night. There is a link to a slideshow on the right hand side. Remember these places are normally bone dry! Our rivers don't have wather in them!

Yep, the Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant. We had everything, from the cheese through the chocolate. The kids had a blast, and the food was good!

WOW! That is not just rain- that's serious RAIN!! Amazing!!

Looks like I'd need a boat if I was going to visit ;\)

But the fondue sounds like a big draw- nothing like that in London as far as I know, and I do love a chocolate fondue! Glad you guys enjoyed it.

(((Jeff))) hope you had a good day today,

L.
