Good for you. It doesn't matter what ANYONE else thinks.

The cool thing is that I am not tempted by them either.
I like being who I am in RL as opposed to who I could be in VR.
A level 50 warrior with a decapitating vorpal +97 sword, and armor of untouchable stupid stats, cannot compete with being a dad and husband.

Jack,

Did you watch "Big Bang Theory" before the writer's strike? If not, I highly recommend it when it comes back on. If you did, you'll recognize the episode your last post sounded like:

Okay, so not to hijack Drew's thread, but when it comes to the bounceback, I'm sorta at the tore up all week stage. How long does it take to get to the bounceback in a few hours stage? And what can I do to get there faster?

You're not hijacking Bomb, but I wish I could give you a good answer.

I'm not sure what it takes.

Yes you do.

Time.

Dettachment.

Knowing, that you have no control of her actions. Knowing that you can only control yourself.

Knowing that you would rather focus on the good, be in a good mood, instead of a crappy one.

Tough night last night. But not for what I thought it would be.

Meeting with the realtor wasn't that big of a deal. Nice guy. From our church. Fair commission. Would give us a discount if we used him on the "buy" side. Makes me wonder if W used him to buy her house. From his comment, I'm guessing no.

Turns out that the house that W bought is in our neighborhood and probably 85-90% the cost of our current home. You know, the one that we can barely afford together? I'm curious how she pulled this one off with her credit rating, unless she got it repaired. Money from her mom? Very likely.

I guess my issue is that "Mom's house" is going to be very comparable to what the boy's have now. "Dad's house" will likely be a smaller townhome where the S14's will have to share a bedroom. I hate to be so crass but ....

Oh, and Jack, they told me that Xbox 360 is going to Mom's house. Ouch.

Oh well, at least you know what you can get me for a housewarming gift!!!

So this morning I got up, shoveled the drive, cleaned up, and put on a suit and tie. Supplier dinner at my favorite steakhouse tonight. Vodka martini w/bleu cheese olives, nice steak, and good red wine. Looking forward to it.

Meet with my lawyer this morning.

Drew,
The kids won't care what your house is like. You could be Matt Foley living in a trailer down by the river and it wouldn't matter one bit. I know this from experience. All they want is you.

I know, but thanks for reassuring me.

Great visit with my lawyer. She was dumbfounded that W bought another house in our neighborhood with her financials. Evidently so is W's lawyer.

Stay tuned ..........
