Today is her last day working at school for the year. I wonder if she will give notice that she is quitting?

She also mentioned that she is going to work this saturday as a waitress at her friends restaurant.

Kerry--

You know this, I should not need to reiterate it--her lack of money is completely HER choice and as such, not your problem. As long as you are providing for the kids at the same level as BEFORE she quit her job, do not let it bother you. Make the most of all the time you have with the kids. It sounds like you guys are going to have a lot of fun.

If your W is like my H, she might not be motivated to take the kids anywhere. My H hasn't even mentioned taking them anywhere. The Ds wanted him to go away with us, but of course that isn't going to happen.

You would probably laugh if you saw our might Cuyahoga River. We have a canoe and H has a kayak. Neither of them have been out of the garage this year. Maybe he will decide to get off his bottom and take the Ds out this weekend.

I seem to remember that the Cuyahoga River is the one that has caught on fire several times. That has to suck if that happens while canoeing.

Kerry, I agree with SMW and W2G. She mentions it a lot, doesn't she? I love the way you plan so many fun things with your kids. And they are still very young!! Imagine what you will do together once they grow some more!!

I think the only thing that bothers me is that she is not truthful about how much OM is supporting her and she is pulling the pity thing to get spousal support. She is still driving the Cadillac he gave her and seems to have a lot of new clothes (and a ring from OM).

I have not given her any child support since we have split the checking so I imagine her L will try to get back support pay once child support payments are determined in the D settlement. I dont really have a problem with that, but would be furious to have to pay back alimony, much less any alimony.

That was back in the 70s,and near the city...it has been cleaned up a lot. We go out in "country" where we see deer and get this...beavers. H had a picture of a beaver dam on his old phone...wonder who that reminded him of.

The Willamete river that flows through Portland Oregon was also a mess before the 1970's. It has been cleaned up much since then, but still whenever it rains a lot, the sewage overflows into the river. And my little town wants to get its drinking water from this river to save money.

Kerry, Did you make reservations ahead of time at the campsites or are you just playing by ear? I can see where your W is no match for you on the outdoors and the entertainment knowledge front. Hopefully you'll meet someone really nice and down to earth you will truly appreciate you.

FB2 - I am playing it by ear. Some of the places I will be staying is just open BLM land. I have the AAA campground books for multiple states and there are lots of places, plus we will probably do some motels so this 48 year old man can get some good rest.

I do hope the next gal I meet likes more outdoor stuff.
