Here, let me help you, Mrs. Lodo -- "self-centeredness."

Puppy/Chocolateeyes

Is that sung to the tune of Louie, Louie? Maybe that should be the Wayward Anthem?

ROFLMAO!!! Thats too funny!.

((lodo)) I read the cards and letters and then put them in the box with the rest of his stuff and took them to his moms. They were his to begin with so he can do with them what he pleases. It has helped to have that stuff removed from my living space, but at the time I needed to wallow in the past...not that it helped. I also can understand the whole being your W's friend, I am trying to do the same with my H and its hard but going dark and some of the other things just don't work in my sitch or for me. Thanks to some of the more vocal members here, I have changed my tactics, but I don't like to play games and I am tyring to avoid drama like the plague.

It can only get better, right? \:\)

I was looking for some art supplies about a month ago and found some love letters from my husband, but not written to me - they were to his college girlfriend. I also found some old photos of them at a tropical resort. She was gorgeous. Like movie star gorgeous. It made me want to puke. I never received love letters from him...

Anyway, the point I want to make is, I think it's important to keep those letters (but put them somewhere the future Mrs. lodo will never find them!). It's part of your history. Cherish the good stuff and move beyond the icky.

You the man, lodo.

Hi guys - thanks for stopping by. I really didn't mean for you to think I was sitting alone in my room pining away. I was just remembering the type of person my W can be. I found those letters to be remarkable - I remember thinking at the time I received them, "I don't know anyone at all who could write something like this."

anyway, perhaps tonight there will be something a little more current for a late night ramble. I have class, though, so it'll be LATE!

I found a few mushy "to my wife on your birthday" cards that H gave me and he wrote lovly things in the card. They are so sad to see, but I remind myself that my old husband did feel that way and that he is now dead.

I have been packing up my H's belongings and putting them in the garage. It is a painful process, but important for me. I have been allowing myself to go through the things and remember what I need to remember and then pack it away, saying goodbye to it. Very healing for me.

Time to get rid of those letter, lodo.

Sara

All right, I'm sorry I posted the last ramble. Obviously it communicated the wrong thing.

So, changing the topic ...

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that there was a presidential candidate who was really really good - had vision, had support, could really unite the country, had an impressive record, was a great speaker. But he had left his W & kids and was living with another woman.

Would you vote for him?
