Hi Purr - thanks for stopping by. I need to read up on your sitch too. My W got involved with OM, but otherwise it sounds like what she said/did was almost identical to your W.

hi lodo,
Wasn't it a friend you mentioned in science education that had difficulty with their dissertation?

My area is in science education looking specifically at the impact of putting courses (science lab courses) online. More specifically, the definition of 'equivalence' as it relates to transfer credits or acceptability of those types of courses in the wider circle of post-secondary education and what constitutes a course & student learning in the sciences.

Hope you enjoyed your swim.

Oh, right! I got confused. It was my uncle.

Your area sounds very interesting and timely. I think we'd have a lot to talk about if we ever got together.

Hi!

My conference isn't until this weekend. I'm still working on my presentation. Need to get it done so I can start running through it.

Thanks for checking on me! lodo

Lodo, just wanted to say thanks for thinking about me. Its good to know people are pulling for you.

In my mind, I have let the wife go, and I can see myself having the same thoughts that you do. I decided a long time ago that I will take the high road and maintain the relationship with her. Going dark with her is not the right path with her.

Good luck with your presentation, lodo.

Is that the reason for the absence of your late night ramble?

My talk is at 4 PST on Saturday. I've got the movies, so if I'm a bit behind you guys I don't think it'll matter that much. MOVIE NIGHT!!!
