ha ha - kidding!!

A bit on the forgiveness bit - I got told this by Ediemarie, it really did hit a chord with me, it may with you

"If I let it all go and forgive him completly and leave the crap in the past that means I'm opening myself up to possibly being hurt again. "

Is it fear that stops us forgiving?

Hi Scott,

Glad to hear that life is treating you well!

You need to get on your bike man, it's summer in New England for God's sake! I've taken to early morning and late evening rides now that summer is in full bloom here in FL. Also been mountain biking in the CO Rockies in June and going again next month - now that is something!

I, like you, struggle with the concept of foregiveness. I am perfectly amicable with the W, don't ever think about her and/or OM, so it's not like I am eaten up with anger over her actions...however, I see foregiveness as something that you give after the act/sin/whatever has ceased and the person repents/asks for foregiveness. Maybe I'm more Old Testament than New?

Oh, and I will take Ian's 12 pack +1, he can drink iced tea and watch us get a cool buzz on!

Take care, SD

Wow...look at all of you. \:\)

ROOOOOOOOB! So good to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words on forgiveness. I hear ya. All in good time I guess.

Trip and Bethie - sorry..Jules got in fine. J, Jules and the girls had a blast at the beach yesterday. Girls were finding sand dollars all day...so I'm thinking that is what you'll be getting Bethie. ;\) I know Jules is off to Portlanad this weekend...not sure when she's due back or when she's heading back to CO.

Thanks Donna! Hope you can make it on the 2nd.

M! Thanks hun. Can't wait to see you on the 2nd. Not sure if she'll be around then or not...but if she is she sure will be.

Jen...sweetie...thank you. You rock. \:\) Interesting. Not sure. Maybe it is. Maybe it's just easier to hold onto it at times. I think sometimes that its just harder to forive someone who doesn't seek it. But I don't want to be a victim to her actions either.

Thanks Puddles! One drink coming right up. \:\)

SD - I know. I really do need to get back on my bike. J was at one point an expert mtn biker...i'm kinda waiting for her to get here and kick my butt. ;\) Your words ring very true my friend. That's pretty much where I'm at I think.

Ian quit drinking....HA! That's like a skunk giving up stinking. ;\)

I remember seeing your name kicking around. Heck we may have even posted to one another. I just began posting over here from Newcomers after a bit of a break. Wonderful to hear that you found someone special.
