Brian I'm doing OK. It gets more interesting as I dig a little deeper. I came across info that my STBX had bought some Persian rugs but had not had them delivered to the house. She had them delivered to her mom's place of business. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the rugs were purchased by and for my STBX to put in the log home we have. As a matter of fact I have proof. I have printed out her EBAY feedback and printed out each item she purchased since May 27th with the exception of something she purchased for my D..The grand total so far is $1971.10 spent on EBAY stuff.. Since we are still married and any items purchased fall under marital property then I am either entitled to 50% of the items purchased or 50% of the worth of the items or we can swap something of equal value out..

I would like my Lawn Mower please and thank you..

I'm good, great actually.

Other $1200 on stuff to make her feel good, Burt's Bee's. clothes, shoes, bed. bath and beyond..

My email at work has went down for now. may come back up in a bit.

It's not about the money really. I say if you got the money and your payuing bills on time then get what you want. If you say you can't pay the bills and you need me to pay more, then don't be dropping bills on EBAY like you are.

Because if you do, then YOU have a problem. May be why she was bankrupt when I met her...

Oh so true, when all is paid for and you have some left then it's time to spoil yourself.

On the other hand some people buy things to make themselves feel better when they are upset or angry...hmmmmmm?

her angry?? reckon??? NO WAY!!! A WAW mad??

Like I said..spend away if the bills are paid...if not then, well I'm sorry. No wonder she complains there's no money. DUH..

She's spent that much just on EBAY since May 27th. with only 82 feedback ratings in the last 30 days. She has 262 feedback ratings for the last 6 months and 596 feedback ratings for the last 12 months..soooo let's do some math. Let's say she averaged $7 per item 7 x 596 items=$4172 over the last year, let's say I just low balled the number and it's more like $10 per item..Most items on Ebay will cost you at least $10 with shipping. $10 x 596= $5960..

I bet I still underestimated.

by the way, do Persian rugs look good in renovated 1952 era house??

You probably did. For some people they think buying things will make them happy. Then the thrill is gone so they buy something new...

I get myself things when I am upset but I buy things like a $4 coffee at Starbucks. Others like a little more elaborate pick-me-up \:\)

Thanks for all your help on my sitch I knew you could hook me up with a link!

Hey bro. ;-P (Is it cool if I call you that, too?)

Your wife's behavior about the spending and 401K is really ugly. She is lacking personal integrity on so many levels, and I agree with BBJ, she's buying and buying and buying and wants more and more and more to fill her emptiness. She could try working on her "insides" but she probably won't figure it out for a long time (if ever). Too bad for her. Keep taking the high road (it's OK if we screw up now and then). You can feel good about looking at yourself in the mirror.

With her spending money like this she will be broke again in no time. Unfortunatley for you it is your money she is spending. \:\(

And what is it with some people that have no concept of how to spend their money wisely and keep within a budget.
