I think noob is a pretty accepted term. IMO.

Mike, I'm in the same place. I went to C for awhile but it didn't really seem to help much. When I start backsliding, like now, I get concerned that maybe I'm getting stuck and it might help to go back, but then usually I go out for a long run or something and feel better.

So don't know, but if you go, let me know what you think about the value of it.

What the heck are you doing back already??? Figured you would gone til late. How were the fireworks did D like them or is that tomorrow I don't remember things have been kinda of a blur??

Did not stay for fireworks. We spent 6 hours there. If I had stayed for the fireworks it may have been midnight before we got home and I did not really want to get D off schedule that bad. My whole family was there and my younger sis has 2 boys who are very high energy. I had as much as I could take and D and I left. I was worn out anyway and D was too. It was hot. about 95 here..

Can totally understand keeping a 2 yr old on a schedule been there done that and yes I too have a t-shirt LOL.

Family time is so important that's great you spent that much time with them and enjoyed the company. You are right though sometimes it is just enough and yep it's time to go.

It was 92-93 here with about 70% humidity god how I love the midwest, sweat like a pig working in the yard today thought I might as well enjoy it while I still got it, plus it is theraputic for me, it's like all of the emotions just sweat right out and cleanses me to where I can think without emotion.

So pictures tomorrow right? Or if that was today also hope they turn out well, your mom will truly enjoy that gift of love.

Update on today-up early, mowed the yard. Came in to clean up. Discover that my STBX has been documenting all my time away from home and the amount of time I spend with D. Games, I hate games.

Got cleaned up and went to the house. Took some pictures. Posted them in the alternate universe..if you know your way there then have fun. Finished painting the bathroom. Changed out some more electrical stuff. Hung some smoke detectors. Installed a new outdoor light on the front porch.

Left there and went to have the pictures made for my mom. They turned out great. Golf after work tomorrow..

Think I should just start typing out my itinerary for my STBX and copy her L in on it?? I'd hate for either to catch a hand cramp from writing all my absences down..

PMA is still really good..Gal'ing like there's no tomorrow.

Mike, they sure did. Praying for strength and guidance today as I prepare to meet with my C this morning and my L this afternoon.

I had another question for you though, what are your thoughts on the LLRT that MWD mentions in the infidelity section of DR? Also, it seems that my only hope for salvaging anything with the R will be post D, after reality starts to set it (no legal separation required in South Dakota and after we sign the settlement, she's out of the house, and the D will be finalized shortly thereafter). Any thoughts on how to extend the olive branch/let her know the door is open and that eventhough the M is dissolved we can still work it out and get back on track?
