Update-off work today and back over to the house. I'm getting frustrated. The work is going super slow. I hung some blinds, hung some doors, painted the inside of the front and back doors. My BIL came over late but had to mow the yard there so he did not start working on the bath room until I left around 7:45..don;t knowhow much he got completed. Before I left I had my BIL show me how to cut and put down the quarter round. We did discover a small problem with the quarter round, modern day quarter round is cut smaller than 1/4 round form the 50"s..so we will have some touch up painting to do around all the baseboards now, I hate to have to redo something I just did...I'll start it tomorrow after my car is repaired. I took vacation so I'll have all day. I hope that they can fix it quickly.
Not much going on here at home, played and talked to D for a few minutes..
I'll be glad when I can move.

I hope for your sake it is a small repair, also I hope you are going to a dealership to have it done, I know that it is a bit more expensive at a dealer labor wise, but if you need a part they should have it. If they don't you call me and I will find it and air express it out to you ya hear me!!!

D67-I play about once a week. I take time to play. I enjoy it. It gets me out doing something I love. In 1993 I got down to a 3 handicap. I play to a 9 handicap now..

Update today-Took the car in to the shop this morning at 7:30. I waited around for a bit. They had to drop the gas tank. When they dropped the tank they discovered about 4 inches of sand on top of the tank..(remember, I love to surf fish) Well the sand had corroded the top of the fuel module and lines coming out of the tank..so I had it repaired. They charged $185 for the labor..the fuel module was $450+..total bill came to $763 and change..When it rains it pours..
While the car was being repaired I had my brother come and get me and take me to the house to work on it. Good news..My D's room is now finished!!! My room is finished except touching up the baseboard where I put the quarter round down. Both rooms look really good. I will go back over there tomorrow to finish up my room and put more quarter round down in the living room and hallway..My BIL has been busy all week so not much done on the bathroom..When it gets done then I'll start spending more time over there.
Since I had to pick the car up I ended up getting in earlier than I have been. I mowed the yard and spent lots of time with D. I asked my STBX if she minded me taking an old organizer that we used to have upstairs when D was a baby..it's used to hold baby wipes, baby supplies and things. It has been in the basement in storage since D now has her own room..STBX said I could take it..it will go good in D's room..STBX also offered to meet me 1/2 way on Friday when I get D to take her to the rehearsal dinner.
I feel pretty good. I am not getting to exercise much. I've only been to the gym 1-2 times in the last month but I do try to do some abs work here at home.
My STBX replaced 2 rugs in the living room with 2 cheap rugs. The dogs are currently chewing the cheap rugs to bits..

No, no more pictures yet. I'm glad the two rooms are done.
Well, the bath room is 75% complete. if I can get my BIL over there it may be done soon. Between his work schedule and church activities and taking care of his 98 year old Aunt, he has a pretty full schedule.
The kitchen will be a major undertaking and 1 bedroom has to be finished..it will be drywall work+ painting and a new light fixture..
I don't know when it will be done. I'll start staying there some when thye batchrrom is done.
