Hi Piecers!

I've been posting on the MLC board, but I think I'm at a point where I can "safely" move over here. Here's my last thread:

Piecing this jigsaw puzzle together

My h has been back at home since April and things are going relatively well, more ups than downs. He will be totally moved out of his rented condo tomorrow (finally!). He has spent every night at home, but had a bunch of things left behind that he is just moving home this week. It may sound silly, but now that the condo will not be "his", I have more faith that this is going to work. As he's been moving things into our house, I've had occassional bouts of sadness where I think "look at all of the things he bought when he left me." We talked about it and I'm moving past it and trying to look forward.

I look forward to posting more here and hearing your comments and advice. I hope that my old MLC friends will continue to keep up with me too!

Hi na-
Glad to hear that your H has moved completely out of the condo. I am sure that is a relief for you.

Keep focusing on the positives and try to let go of the past. It sounds like you are on the right path.

Hi again Up!

Yes, our house is now a mess and the stuff everywhere is driving me nuts, but I'm so happy that he's finally out of there!

Now I need to organize a yard sale, yet another project to add to the list!

Teresa,

Guess Who????? Yes, I still keep up on your sitch. I am glad to hear that things are going so well for you. I have not posted in so long that I forgot my password.

Things are going well for me also. Not really where I want to be yet but much improved!

MATT!!!!
Wow, I'm so surprised to hear from you! I was just thinking about you a week or so ago and wondering how you were doing. It sounds like we're at the same stage (again!)- things are much better than they were, but we want more. Something to work on, right?

Will you be starting a thread? I will look out for you.

Hi e,

I haven't been on the boards much this week, so I haven't posted any updates. Things are going OK. Sometimes I feel like we're back to where we were pre-bomb, which is not a good thing, since that must have contributed to the bomb in the first place. We had a big argument last Sunday when we were trying to get things organized around the house. He bought so many things when he was gone and while we were trying to get the house somewhat in order, I started to feel so resentful about the time when he was gone and I blew up. Ugh. Time to get past in and look ahead- I'm working on it. \:\)

Positives: we are planning a kids-free weekend away for our anniversary in Sept (!), we worked well together in painting the bathroom, I have a lot of new stuff in the house that I didn't know I needed , he tells me "ILY".

"ILY"

Even those words are magical!

I'm still surprised when he tells me ILY. It's definitely something that I'm so grateful for.
