Thanks...I just did this.

I did not post to said thread, but was , unfortunately, drawn by curiosity to see what it was about. I had to sit on my fingers the whole time.

I'm not sure what the purpose of the thread is, other than confrontation. It is NOT for self-venting. That could be done at home with a paper and pen. It is not asking for advice or support, as that is met toxic replies.

So for those of us who would like to reach out and help, but feel it is counter productive, this feature you have pointed out is a good option.

Maybe time will get the better of me, and I will check back later, but I try real hard not to stare at car wrecks, and I'm going to try real hard to remember that whatever work needs to be done in the posters life is going to have to come from a source other than all of us..including myself.

Hi ya, SG! Fabulous to see you. All is well with me and mine. We are spending the weekend moving to my new house. WooT!

My daughter graduated last year and is currently working as an assistant teacher to a private school while her husband of almost a year finishes up his last year. He is working this summer as an intern for Walt Disney Imagineering and is loving it! My son graduated HS in June and is currently enrolled in classes at the local community college. His favorite class this session is for his EMT cert.

I hope your daughter is enjoying her time in SLO. Such a beautiful place. I love it there. LOL re: 5 year plan. I think that is pretty much the norm anymore. {The son-in-law is on the just under 6 year plan.}

I hope all is well with you. Have a great weekend.

Creed,

I am glad that you found the 101 helpful. Life is difficult enough without someone you are truly trying to help turning on you time and time again. HeLL, If I wanted that I could go talk to my X.

Take care. Keep sitting on your fingers if need be.

Hi SWL,

Congrats on the new house! Is S living w/ you still? I bet your D enjoys the teaching. I sure get a lift from being around young ones...even the PIA ones! LOL!

DD LOVES SLO! I do too, so 5 years is OK w/ me. I interviewed for a job in Coalinga which would have been a lot closer, but that didn't pan out. Oh well. I would rather live on the coast anyway!

Take care,
SG
