Pain is often more easily dealt with in the company of caring and supportive friends.

Leaving the board, unless you are simply out there tearing it up in the GAL arena, usually is counterproductive.

Trust me on this one. You are NOT better off alone with your thoughts.

You don't have to camp out here. But pop back in once every day or so. Kick ideas around, visit another thread, offer some words of encouragement.
