((((((((((((W2S)))))))))))))))))))) I missed you.

Don't worry lack of celibacy is bottom of the list and I'm sure I'll find new goals to put above it for a long time yet

I intend to make more of the friends I've already made along the way as for a while going out to meet even more new ones will be hampered by my new 'strapped for cash' status. \:\( In addition I never again want to be in the position where I find that what I thought were friends were actually just acquaintences or 'fair weather' friends. However I must admit I would quite like a 'friend' that I can take to parties where I know my former friends and family will be just to get them gossiping. Of course it would have to be a different 'friend' for every party so a girl could get very tired.

YR: I do feel very good about myself right now. Thanks for the good wishes.

My new job is going really well. I know I am going to be happy there

The transfer of equity for the mortgage seems to be going forward ok although I still don't know what the end date of negotiations will be as I haven't heard back from L.

I've finally got something down on paper for my next assignment although it is due in on Thursday and I still have loooooooooaaaaaaaaaaads to do

Did I mention I feel GGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD ?

Hi ACJ,
I was just looking for your thread when you posted.

You sound really good. I am happy for you, also that you like your new job. Good luck with it.

Yes, I am sure you would enjoy a nice "friend". I hope you will find one soon.

Have a good week. (((HUGS)))

I'm off to a black tie ball tomorrow night. I was hoping to get a new dress but couldn't find one that either fitted or I could afford so I will wear one of the two I already have (again). I just hope i feel nice as I'm really bloated at the moment and it's making me feel pretty cr**py about myself. I am however having my hair done (although I can't really afford that either ) so hopefully the hairdresser can make me feel a little sexier than I do right now I'm taking a fellow female DBer with me as a guest so it should be fun.

(((Alison)))

So glad to see you on the way back to the social circuit, and sharing the opportunity with another DBbabe. Doesn't get any better than that!

Let the financial cow chips fall where they may, and they all will in good time. Sorry you are not feeling 100% at the moment, but let that pass and make room for a totally better you. Let us know how the hair turns out, I bet it will really put you over the top.

Make sure to leave the social with at least one phone number of one more new friend (male or female - all new friends count). Use the new number and new friend as a good reason to schedule something else this month. Shopping or dining, anything fun. A movie. Involve as many friends as possible. A virtual party team on the move.

Happy New Year ... Happy New Job ... Happy New You !!! Things really do seem to be changing for the better. Turning life over to God and giving Him time to do his work can be amazing if we let it.

(((hugs)))

You're not wrong about the DBbabe bit and this friend is ready to find new love so hopefully I can help introduce her to some nice men even if I'm not yet ready myself.

My hair looks F.A.B So despite needing a mini mortgage to pay for it I do feel tons better.

This has been a resolution of mine since before the New Year. So far it hasn't happened BUT that just means they weren't nice enough people in the first place!

Hope you will be waiting with warm towels etc for fellow DBer and I when we get back

Cat03 Good to see you here. Hope things are improving at your end.

Hope you had an awesome time, ACJ!!! I can't remember when I last went out to a place where I had to actually dress up. Probably two years ago at H's office party. Keep up the positive attitude. \:\)
