I will try that! Thanks. With four kids and basically one income, the Pupster's gotta watch his pennies!

I do a lot of Greg Norman, the Penfold's, I like Jip Rocks and Peter Lehmann and even Jacob's Creek Reserve.

Ohhhh, you're one of those people...Australian wine drinkers. Personally I think the WA wines taste better for the same price but like I said, I am biased.

When I went to AUS in 2000 I brought a couple bottles to my aunt and her BF at the time. Some friends came over for dinner one night so we opened the Columbia Crest Reserve Red (now it's called Walter Clore Private Reserve). The Aussies all said it was the best wine they'd ever had. ;\)

Hadn't noticed that Pearl, but I DO love the Aussies. They tend to be more "American" than about 40% of Americans.

Including Seattle folk. \:\/

Oh!! I love wineries! Mom and I are considering a trip up to Williamsburg to the winery there. I am hoping DH and I can go for a weekend in the not too distant future. They have a GORGEOUS hotel attached to it.

Here it is--isn't it beautiful???

Puppy, I was talking about Aussie wines, not people. Let's not get personal here! \:o

That said, I met some very nice Aussie men when I was there. Maybe it's time for another trip Down Under. ;\)

SMW, that hotel is gorgeous. Now keep those weekend plans in mind when you're tempted to buy too many pairs of shoes! And I will take my own advice and stay away from any shopping this weekend. \:D

It is a long flight. I think it was 13 hours from LA and my sleeping pills did NOT work. I was not a happy camper. Luckily, my aunt who lives in Melbourne is a nurse and gave me some good stuff for the return flight. ;\)

So yeah, road/plane trip!
