I do appreciate that kids make people more motivated to work things out and I missed that aspect early on.

I'm moving back to San Francisco. Not from there originally but spent college and a few years afterwards there. xBF said he'd never live in CA so I didn't think I'd ever get back to SF but I really do feel at home there.

I only have the one sports bar I like. The other one near the house I tried is where xBF likes to meet OW so I will never go there again. Plus the guys at Chopper's all like me and have offered to beat up xBF so of course that's where my loyalties lie. You'll have to let me know where you end up. I'm in town now but we lived in the burbs by DTC for a few months.

It will be better for the cats to separate them since they fight a lot and the big one has gotten less healthy instead of healthier. That is the main reason. It's also going to be hard to find an apt in SF that allows a cat, it would be nearly impossible to find one that allows more than one. Sigh. But I may have a change of heart in the end and take the little one with me too.

{{{Pearl}}}} UM..you are NOT a terrible person and, if that is why he turned to OW instead of talking to you about it and trying to work it out, then he is the terrible one in that scenario!! Next time, no Oprah for you LOLOL \:\)

Aww about the cats. You know, I was thinking about my kitties too. When I move into something else next year, I doubt I'll be able to take them with me, and certainly not all of them. Sigh..I will be majorly bummed about that..

HUGS and have a great day today okay! It definitely sounds like a good jeans/purple pumps kind of day girl!

Men need RESPECT above all else. I can't believe he left that off his list. Studies have even shown that a man would rather feel UNLOVED than DISRESPECTED when in conflict.

Wouldn't support, count towards respect?

Pearl,

Totally agree with Tawnya here! Don't beat yourself up. You are NOT the bad one here. What person would not want to get his/her needs met by their partner before looking outside of the R? THAT is the easy way.

I was laughing about the "no Ophrah for you!" Made me think of the soup nazi on Seinfeld! LOL!!

In all seriousness, watch something fun if you can't sleep in the middle of the night. Everybody's mind goes into negative patterns late at night. 5am is the worst for me! If I wake up then, it's at least an hour before I can sleep again. And then it's pretty much time to get up!!

Also, I do feel Puppy's right on the money! Respect IS really important to men. At least it is to me!

Steve Harvey? Isn't he a comedian?

The three things men need most:

1. Sex
2. Sex
3. Sex

Yep, Steve Harvey the comedian. He's written a dating book for women called "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man." That's why he was on Oprah yesterday.

Spellfire, that doesn't make me feel any better since lack of sex was the major problem in my R. Sigh. Well, I'm willing to address that issue if/when xBF acts like he wants to work it out. Already have new lingerie and I look good with the weight loss. So actually, even if I never get back together with xBF I will address that issue with anyone else I may be in a R with and it will be hot!

Ok, I credit Justin Timberlake for a turnaround in emotions today. Listened to FutureSex/LoveSounds on my walk today, the album with the song "SexyBack." I found myself bopping along, smiling, and even laughing out loud listening to the lyrics. The attitude behind the lyrics is what got me, the general idea of "I know I'm hot and you want me" or "your woman wants me so you'd better work to keep her, if she comes to me I won't turn her away" really struck me. I think it got me back on track. I know I'm not perfect and I've made a lot of mistakes, but overall I am pretty awesome and if xBF isn't willing to work to win me back then it's his loss. There are other fish in the sea. And if I don't feel like fishing, I'll kick back on the beach, catch some rays in my supercute new bikini and accept the appreciation of passersby.
