Prety much. She denies saying it, but it was so astounding to me that I will never forget it. The rule is to not believe 100% of what they say, but it is sure hard to forget some things said.

One I will always remember is when we went to a marriage counselor and she told the counselor that she does not think she ever loved me.

"She told me that several times over the last year that she thought of just letting me have the kids full time and having herself leave (go back to Thailand?)."
If I were you I'd take her up on her offer and get it in writing!?
BTW, OM probably needs Viagra but, seriously, how do you (and the kids) deal with the yucky feeling of having OM around?

I feel strongly that what is best for the kids right now is to spend equal time with a father and a mother. I do know that I would have no problem raising them on my own if she were to skeedaddle.

OM probably does not get to use viagra very often since XW had all her inner girl parts removed recently - who knows, maybe that made her less frigid.

D6 seems to like OM but I am not sure what S8 thinks of him. I tolerate him, but it sure would be envigorating for me to do some sparring with him (I've gotten back into punishing a heavy bag named Ed at the gym recently).

Hi Jack -

I was just feeling a bit sorry for sunshinelewis and thought Mitzi could lift some spirits. BTW...I got a good chuckle out of your herding cats. It has to be one of the toughest things anyone can do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk7yqlTMvp8

Kerry,

Isn't revisionist history always so interesting to read?

XW is a piece of work.

Oh, well. Just a few more interactions and you'll be down to nothing more than interactions over the kids.

Hi RTL -

I especially get a chuckle out of conspiracy theory revisionist history:

- Holocaust did not occur during WW2
- Government whacked JFK instead of LHO.
- Bruce Lee, Marilyn Monroe, Jim Morrison and JFK did not actually die.
- Men waking on the moon was a hoax (and even fooled the Soviets)
- 911 planes did not cause the towers to tumble or the pentagon explosion (inside job).

KerryK...I love the revisionist story as well. Last year...during the heat of this...my W complained to me about OUR HONEYMOON. We spent 10 glorious days in Hawaii and on the way back, we stayed at the brand-spanking-new Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas to break up the long journey home. We stopped there on the way back to hook up with my whole family for my mother's 75th BD party. We gambled. We ate, danced...had a great time.

8-9 years later she tells me how horrible it was...that we had to be with my family on her honeymoon...that my family dictated everything AFTER WE WERE ALONE IN HAWAII FOR 10 QUIET AND INTIMATE DAYS...THE MOST ROMANTIC TIME FOR BOTH OF US.

Revisionist history indeed. They have to say this to keep their head straight re: their decisions.

If your exW talks about going back to Thailand...I'd buy her the plane ticket. LOLOL.

Anyway, for the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would make the move your XW did. Just continue to take care of yourself and your kids. I don't know how you do it...stay in such close contact with him either.

Kerry,

I'm living through revisionist history from the point of view of my XW.

Remember was is ME that was controlling and always getting my way according to her. Exactly who is the control freak?

It is always good to put your spin on it so you can feel better, I guess. The spin helps people avoid finding out the ugly truth about themselves.
