It really getsto me when I watch "Gettysburg". They were editing Armisted's death scene at the same time that Richard Jordan passed from a brain tumor. I read that they had the hardest time getting through it.

I have a hard time too. I always think of him in "Logan's Run" and "The Hunt for Red October". I just love movies and take it hard when a famous actor dies. My ex never could get that. It is just that they touch so many people. sure they don't know you from Adam but they made a mark none the less.

Thanks for the chat last night!!! You are the best friend ever!!! I finished up the work for my L so am about to go drop it off! Hurray! Hopefully she won't be there and I can just sneak out...She wants me to meet with her tomorrow and Fri. am and threatened to meet this weekend if we have to.

Thanks girls! Today was supposed to be kind of a slow day but it didn't happen that way. I wasn't feeling good last night and crashed on the couch around 9. Finally dragged myself off to bed.

I took the boys out to eat and went to my least favorite store in the world...walmart, to get some X-mas stuff. I decided to go with a real tree just to shake things up even though we have had an artificial one for a while. Can't believe I got the tree in the car along with the two boys! The car smelled like heaven and now my house does too.

Ex brought the girls home so he could go see Breaking Benjamin with S17 in Wichita along with S17's best friend. My parents wanted the girls but thought I would be alone so they asked if I wanted to come for dinner. Um not really but ok. So took the three youngest out to my parents, had dinner and s14 and I just got home. Getting ready to watch a movie and rest up for another busy day tomorrow. Hope you all are doing well too.

I did a real tree last year after nearly 20 years of having a fake one. I was pretty amazed that I managed to get it unstrapped from the top of my car where the guy at Home Depot had put it. Getting it into the tree stand was another ball game! It fell over twice and there was a lot of cursing involved.

I'm with you on the walmart opinion, but you have to admit that when you need stuff that isn't on sale anywhere you can pretty much guarantee that the price will be a little lower at walmart. It stinks.

Oh but this tree actually fit inside my car!! How crazy is that...my cute and sexy car, me, two boys and a 7 foot Douglas Fir?! We just have the lights on it right now and it is amazing. I never had a real tree as a kid. We had a real one the first 5 years or so that we were married.

You would think this would bring not so great memories back up, but no, this is so beautiful. No gaps, no scrawny places. It was all bound up so probably took a bit of a gamble. Someone is keeping an eye on me. (Thanks)
