Rabbit, I understand why you wanted H to tell people with you present. It's like telling your family you're expecting a baby and you share your good news together. However, maybe H would be more comfortable without you being present in case he is asked some candid questions. I'm not sure, just trying to consider from his perspective.

I hope you followed my message on my thread and then @ and the name of our other Australian friend here on DB.

Hi Rabbit, It's already tomorrow because I had a very late night last night!! I was on facebook chatting to 2 friends from Philippines. It was so good to catch up with them. I'm planning to visit them soon!

After the 4 letters and the name of our other Australian friend add the word email. In Australia most finish with com and au. I hope Oz is following along as well.

Had a lovely day yesterday, we cleaned up the debris from Xmas day and then went for a drive, came back and cooked dinner for S & GF. Very pleasant evening although everyone very tired.

Its my birthday tomorrow but I just sense its gonna be a disappointment, H might be back but apart from great cuddles and ML hes not feeding my soul verbally at all, so I just feel empty all the time.. Off out to GAL this afternoon so will top my own soul up lol!

One thing that I think is hard during piecing is that our WAS may have chosen the M but that doesn't mean the issues that caused them to be a WAS are resolved yet. Which, during their "time as an alien" they conveniently found wasy to blame us for. So, although they may have "woken up" to some extent... it takes time. I am struggling with some similar issues. H is trying, but doesn't do much verbal affirming, which I am longing for so badly. It is one of my primary LL. It is a slow process....

So, I think you are doing the right thing to find ways to fill your own soul and heart.... I am trying to do that also. But, it's not easy! Hang in there, and make your birthday great for yourself!

I haven't read your other thread but I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday! You are doing the right thing by continuing to GAL. It's great you spent a pleasant day yesterday with H and S. Piecing is a very slow process. Try not to have too many expectations. I've been Piecing for 7 months and there are many days where I am still struggling.
