At the moment the friend that took such good care of me whilst I was going through my roughest patches, is now going through some of the same stuff. Some may say she is 'lucky' as her husband is home again after having been with the ow for about a year and a half. My friend is the lighthouse, she is peace itself, and gives him unconditional love. I have no idea if it will work out for them, I see her doing different things than I did in my situation, yet lots of the same as well. I think it all has to do with how the crisis evolves and each person's personality and character.

Midlife crisis is something that seems to be in an explosive upward movement nowadays ! A week doesn't go by that I don't hear about some couple splitting up because of many midlife-crisis-like-symptoms. It is a scary evolution that is occuring.

We seem to have lost all sense of loyalty and commitment towards the most important people in our lives and any others too.

It seems so unfair that we have to go through so much pain to get to 'the other side' ....but believe me, whatever your 'otherside' may turn out to be, it is worth it in the end, if you find the positives in your negative situation. It is through life's thoughest challenges that we find glorious moments !

I truly hope that those of you here in pain and with utterly broken hearts can hold on to this thought, even though right now, you may not even be able to imagine it...I was there too, and I NEVER thought I would get to where I am now, but I did !!

Take care dear friends

Truely an inspiration you are Cinders.

Remember though, and please, if it was easy, you wouldn't appreciate it.

Cinders,
I am so happy for you! Life does go on and can be fantastic again!

I am doing very well. I am actually getting married to a sweet wonderful man this weekend! We dated for two years and are so lucky to have found each other. (His ex-wife had a MLC and left him after 20 years of marriage, so we were both LBSs.) My new man and I know we will make it as we both understand that marriage is work and are committed to each other.

Good luck on all your dating adventures! I loved the story about the bird-nest hair man. He sounded so sweet to me but I guess we all have our own limits.

Hi HM !!!

Thanks so much for your update and congratulations on your upcoming wedding ! I am so happy for you, and yes...I am sure that you will both be extremely motivated to make it work this time...don't forget that it is 'work' !! ;-)

Hahaha, yes the bird-nest-hair guy was really sweet and I do think he loved that date and would have liked to see me again, but I'm afraid I never felt the 'click' that I feel should have been there....

Thanks so much for dropping by to read my blog, I am having fun writing all the stories taking great care not to say things that may hurt anyone !! Lots of love Cinders xxx
