Yes. Some days, the "MOM" and the "can you....." can get to you.....but I would go nuts without them (or maybe I already am.....)

DI - I hear ya! They make me insane, and I miss them terribly if they're gone five minutes, at the same time. I'm going to California next week. I have to tell you. I'm ready for a little break. No driving, wrapping ankles, cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc... OK, I have to work, but I'm staying w/my boss and his wife, and they have the most relaxing backyard. I plan on laying in one of his lounge chairs by the pool at night, sipping cocktails, laughing w/his wife (and she is an amazing cook!).

OK, back to the reality of now!

Jeff - Thank you. You're really too nice! smile

So, this am S10 and I had "Moments w/Mom" for school... Go early, have a donut, chat w/other kids and moms, leave... My BFF and I planned an alternate "Moments w/Mom" at Egg Harbor Cafe (right next to school). Our boys are BFF's, too... so totally fun breakfast. We laughed so hard, we cried. We haven't seen each other in a few weeks, as both of us were traveling.

And, now, I'm headed out, for LUNCH w/her! LOL No kids allowed. Now, we can REALLY catch up!

THEN, we're picking kids up from school... and going to our fave restaurant (that the kids get treated like kings at!) and having a cocktail or two (right by BFF's house), and she's taking my boys home w/her. My S13 is babysitting her crew of three boys (she has three girls, too!), plus my S10 wants to go.

MINDFULL has the kids covered. I had better find something to do. smile OK, I already have that covered. I'm psych'd.

Again, what to wear? smile

BBJ. - can help w/the cute... Cute jeans? No. Between us girls. I'm about 5 lbs away, and date night requires perfection!

Yay! Can't wait to come see you and your cute guy entourage! smile

And no worries on the jeans. Bought some super cute Vera Wang capri jeans 3 weeks ago but still 5 lbs away from them...they are hopefully my "post bootcamp/20K" jeans! And a couple sweet halters/tanks I bought to wear once my upper arms are buff...

Enjoy your cinco de mayo fiesta! Lucky chica!

You two blondes! I have a soft spot for blondes! Which explains why my X was a brunette? But, even more I have a soft spot for good people... and you both hit that one right on the nose!

OK, here are your options:
#1 - S13's old soccer coach - 36yo, single Dad, w/sole custody of the most gorgeous 5yo daughter, ever... BRIGHTEST blue eyes even, dark spiky hair and a fabulous adoring personality. He sucks you in w/his charm. He's a Region Manager for BIG pharma. We are, actually, great friends, still, and he was S13's coach three years ago. LOVE HIM! He's a good option for you.
#2 - Mindfull's Friend's Ex-H - 40-ish Bald, Hot, and Built! LOL (Sorry, G, if you're reading this) I don't usually find bald men hot, but, this man is HOT! LOL He dresses well, and stares right through you when he talks. Also, has superbly funny jokes, and we still have lunch once in awhile, because he's just fun. He's your man. He's a small biz owner of an advertising company. Single Dad of two darling kids. Oh, and I just love his Ex-W. (Even if she traded him in on a newer, younger, PAINTER!) He's choice #2, because he's a bit of a cat. But, hey, for a fun night out.
#3 - Mindfull's Friend Who Died Widower - 40-ish, Pediatrician, Totally wild and fun Single Dad of two great kids. He's OK to look at, really fun to hang with (we did beer bongs last time together), and has a nice... life, post wife's death. He has his own Pediatric practice, with a waiting list a year out. That's the personality we're talking. He's choice #3, because he's quite short (5'6 maybe?), cute enough, but not one to turn heads, and... I've heard stories of him being a bit condescending when drinking (but, I've NEVER seen a hint of it, and I've spent a lot of drinking time w/him in the past). We'll cut him a break. He lost his wife. He'd be a totally fun date, though.

Don't you love that Simply Vera line? Cute!

Cinco/Date Night was totally fun. BEAM! smile Hence, the above offerings of local men for dates! LOL Not interesting...
