Hmm...I don't see why I couldn't come for a three day weekend and audition them all! Then I could come back the next month for a follow up of my favorite... I've got no issues with bald, saw a guy on Match last night who was bald but his eyes and grin stopped me in my tracks! Bald is only icky if there is nothing cute/hott below the bald head!
So how soon can I come visit?
Yep I love some of the Simply Vera stuff. I can't wait to go shopping again post boot camp/20K...maybe I can hit some shops when I visit Chicago...

I finally got some sleep last night. It was awesome. I am recharged for the next few weeks!
I'm headed off to another S13 State Cup soccer game. They won yesterday, so, we play again today... (Almost wished they wouldn't have won yesterday, so I could sleep in!)
I think we're going to brunch w/my parents. Not sure what else the day will bring.
I have five months of expense reports to do! I may get them done tonight... CASH!

I entered about 25 checks into quicken last night, and then reconciled one month of bank statements after that. Caught up through the end of February, woo hoo! Hot Saturday night for me!

First of all, the good news... S13 won their State Cup game. Yay!
Here comes the bad part... H went to S13's game, and all was fine. I was cordial, but not pleasant... Sat together at the game (w/my BFF soccer mom, so not awkward since I was talking to her).
H had left early to pick up S10 (w/S13 in tow) to go meet my family (they had gone bowling). H called my cell, didn't greet me when I answered, but had me on speaker so I could hear him screaming at S10, and swearing at him for not being ready to go. I say "Hello. Are you done now?" He says... "WHAT!??!?!" I say... "Listen, H, I would never do something like this to you on Father's Day." He says, "W, spend the f*cking day on your own with your children. I'm out of here." I say, "Good thinking."
He calls me back five minutes later. H says, "W, I just talked to all three children separately. I've told them all I'm filing for divorce, and am leaving." I say, "Nice Dad. Are you still at home?" He says, "I'm leaving in 10 seconds." I say, "H, make it eight."
GOD!
So, I am so f*cking pissed that he STOLE my kids innocence. Who wants to be told your parents are divorcing in that way? S10 was sobbing when I got there... thought it was his fault for making Dad mad. S13 has teary eyes, but in true 13yo boy manner, won't speak. D18 is ready to take his damn head off. (She's fiesty like her mom.)
All kids and I have talked together and separately. We are all calm for now.
Then, later this afternoon, I find out... H went to the bowling alley where my parents and family are. He told them he was DONE w/their daughter, and hoped I wouldn't ruin the boys lives, like I've ruined my daughter's. (Not sure what he's talking about, but, okay...) My parents had NO idea there were any problems between us, and LOVE H to death. Needless to say this is a shock to the fam.
So, I got a call from my BFF's H... (I had txt'd her and told her what was going on...) He invited the kids and I to eat w/he and the boys, since my BFF is in FL w/one child. So, we ended up going to brunch w/my kids (and D18's BFF). It went well. D18 had gone and picked out presents from her and her bro's. The BFF got me a present. They're just really worried about me. (As I type, D18's entourage is entering... GOD! Can I just be sad and pissed?)
Tonight, my dear friend is coming to be a great support.
OK, so, time to figure out what to do. H is stealing my thunder on the D stuff, as he claims he's filing immediately. I wish I would have knowns... Since IL is a no-fault state, it doesn't matter. HIS attorney could have done all the preliminary work.
I just hope he doesn't abandon these boys.
Sh*tty Mother's Day so far. F*ck. Will improve shortly, and thank god for my kids.

OH! What an ass....do you think he figured out you were filing and wanted to beat you to the punch??? Can you still serve him next week before he has time to go file? GRRR!
Wow MF- I'm so sorry he put your whole family through that.
I'm wondering the same as Bobbi Jo- Can you still file and serve him, and beat him to the punch? It may still come as a shock to him that you aren't as naive and unaware as he thinks you are...
