Okay, so I'm having this little get together at my house on the 4th. Think I'll invite some other people as well as just my daughters. Called my son in Dallas and invited he and his girlfriend. He's NEVER brought a girl home before, and he's 34 years old. Maybe a few other friends.

One of the lies by WH told the kids was that he was always wanting people out and I wouldn't let him. He was as much or more so a hermit than I was. I called and invited my other stepson and his wife, although they live pretty far away.

I can't really afford much of a bash, but I'll do my best.
Anyone got any cheap but fun ideas???

Punkin,

Ask everyone to bring a dish they're famous for to pass. For soft drinks if you're offering, buy store brand. Much cheaper, or there's always store brand Kool- Aid type powder to make. If there are to be alcoholic beverages ask everyone to bring their favorite.

A volleyball game is always fun. If you don't have a net ask to borrow one. Check the net under cheap or low cost party ideas. You'll get some good ones.

Great GAL activity, Punkin! You can make it one they'll remember!

Thank you SA! Now you've got me thinking. Have one daughter do this and another that. One problem with the volleyball. I live on top of a hill, both sides straight down. I'd have to have a large surplus of balls to make a go of it!!!!

Tether ball then. Ball with String.

Jarts...points for hitting the neighbors farther below on the cliff you seem to live on.

Speaking of which your house just became one of my top 10 places to outlast the zombie apocalypse Pun. FYI.

Punkin,

You sound good.

Party ideas huh?

Pasta Salad--angel hair, mozzarella chunks, tomato, onion, fresh basil, oil and vinegar or italian dressing. Simple, yummy, pretty cheap.

Aritchoke and spinach dip

Buffalo chicken dip

Burgers, dogs, and baked beans

Simple and easy.

As far as your H and Branson, all very common stuff for MLC. They are not the people we knew.

Life goes on.

Have a great Fourth!
