ROTFLMFAO!

Could have been worse.

She could have typed him a letter in response and then he would miss Christmas reading it.

True....

We have a law against that kind of punishment in this country...

Maybe that's why she is in the Commonwealth of Canada ?

PEI,

Happy VD Day!!

Don't worry about those 2, they were the ones that never had their Valentine's Day "shoe box" mail box get any Valentine's Day cards from their classmates......

Just chalk it up to "un-resolved" childhood issues.

Cheers

Hope you're doing well.

Just wanted to pop in to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the title of your thread. I loved Alanis but really forgot about that song for a while. Reading the lyrics made me laugh and trying to SING IT made me laugh even more. Thanks!

Hey Kara ...

Thanks. I'm doing really well ... in general smile ... and like most, I struggle occasionally with my life. I'm happy, have three great kids and am getting back on my feet financially ... so things are good!

I too love Alanis ... I've seen her live a couple of times and enjoyed the show both times.

Take care,
PEI

Hi all!

So it's been a while since I updated anything ...

Financially things are coming together. I got my tax return and I have a job interview today for part time work to supplement my income. Fingers crossed!

I've been partying a LOT and am ready to step back for a bit ... I'm too old! LOL ... I've having a lot of fun, socializing more than I have in years and dating some too.

I'm getting ready to completely clean out and organize my house, and I'm prepping to paint too ... my daughter has picked out a very lovely lime green color for her walls smile

As far as stbxH goes ... well, status quo really. We interact regarding the kids and get along really well. Just yesterday he called about a schedule switch and we chatted and laughed on the phone for 1/2 hour. Sometimes I forget he's in crisis, he does a good job of living on the surface. And then he reminds me. Just last week we coming back from parent/teacher interview when he turned to me and said "So you like your life? You're happy?" I looked at him, and saw him eagerly awaiting my answer. And it hit me ... he still wants me to let him off the hook. He wants to justify his actions by believing that now I am better off. And I am smile ... and I am loving my life. I love where I am, but I will never agree that he made the right choice, or give him credit for getting me here. Uh uh. Nope. So, I said to him ... "H, my life is what it is. And I CHOOSE to be happy." Not surprisingly, he wasn't quite sure what to say to that. LOL

Angel ... thanks for requesting the update. Sweetie, it no longer feels like coping ... I'm living. And loving it.

(((hugs)))

Peace
PEI
