Thanks guys for the prayers and responses. Until I am able to get moved, I have to sneak in early and use the office Internet, but try to get in a moment or two when I can. Beatrice, you are dead on.

H's L tried to pull a fast one and my L caught it, so here we go again with the delay in Decree and Settlement.

Meanwhile, my XH presented me with a list of things he wanted from the house, to inculde the cat iltter box and six years of old issues of National Geographic. He did ask for a picture I had bought him at an Arts and Crafts Fair. I bought it for him in 2002. Beautiful pic of buck standing in snowy woods, looking right at the camera. Very nicely matted and framed. On the back, it says, " To my wonderful husband and my very best friend, Love, (punkin) 2002. Actually it only said that after I wrote it on there 3 days ago!! laugh Hope she enjoys having it on her walls!

OMG Punkin, I just spit my juice out! You crack me up!

You are always in my prayers.

And I hope one day our paths cross. We would have a blast.

Keep going, sweetie. I feel the best is yet to come for you.

You could not make this up could you? I love your inscription. Great sense of history and timing there girl!

Meanwhile my xh actually asked me how my surgery went. I am still stunned - this was after the 21 photos he sent a week or so back [remember I haven't seen him except in court in over a year, but curiously I recall what he looks like]. So I did nice and asked how his tests went, and got a reply - he then asked if my surgeon was still as handsome. [my surgeon is 20 years younger than me and happily married, but devastatingly handsome and really nice].

They are nuts - Brooklyn's yours, mine, everyone here, in their own ways. When they stop being so angry is starts to get funny, as well as sad.

What the heck? He's requesting the cat litter box? Oh my! That's about as good as my xh wanting the plastic Easter Egg. Okay, I can't stop laughing...they are all just plain mental and the Mother Ship needs to keep them all for a while longer.

Hang in there!

Actually, it doesn't matter whether they are angry or not, because once you've stepped away from the drama, you can laugh about all of the crazy things they have said or done.

My xh said many, many crazy things that truly made him the loony tune of this forum. The Easter Egg took the cake way back in June of 2000 and believe me when I say this, I still shake my head and laugh over that one.

I still want to know what is up with the kitty litter box...

OMG, he wants the cat litter box??? Do you have something you can inscribe on that too?

Snodderly, your xh wanted just one plastic Easter Egg? Did he ever say why?

Today is the day XH swore he was coming to pick up his 'stuff', whatever that means. The locks are changed, doors underneath the knobs. Everything secure. We'll see how far he is willing to take this. Had BFF's hubby help me move my mattress and sofa last night to storage. Truck is full of more stuff today. This is all so ridiculous. I'll probably get home this afternoon and find the birdhouses gone or the dog bowl. Perhaps he'll want to dig up our dead cat just for sentimental reasons.

For the most part, I am living in the guest bedroom. The rest of the house looks like a war zone. At this rate, I may be living in the storage building!
