LOL... I hope not... I wouldn't even let my Pastor call the newspaper in... He tried, I said no. It isn't about me and I don't want any portion of it to become about me. I understand the ceremony behind the past few days and I am okay with that, but there are others who jump more hurdles than I do, to get where they are. I firmly believe in one Church, one love, and one God... Each of us has a part to play... No matter what color your skin happens to be.

I've decided (there I go again) not to have the talk to W tonight. Off to bed instead. No I'm not avoiding it!
Bliss. Some serious Zzzzzzzzz's. and no alarm clock in the morning. Lets see if the W beats me to waking up.
Well - the locksmith's been and gone. And after having a look at "what is hidden" I see more stuff that's come back! Instead of a completely empty room/wardrobe there's actually some cloths. More than just a "change of cloths" and then a duck.
Lets see what this week brings - "friends" recovery and W's stay there finish's supposedly this weekend. Will she return, won't she? Who knows.
Got a busy Wednesday lined up. Gardener will be sorting out the back garden now there's someone here to let him in! A mates painter is being "loaned" to me to paint the kitchen and one wall of the bar.
There's a dribble of water in the spare bedroom that's made a bit of a mess on the wall. Wondering if I should get him to do a quick lick there as well.
I've decided to make a care package for the W - NOT because of the threats - just 'cos I want to. She can have a pack of cigs and pads with a letter telling her that it's not because of the aforementioned threats. They just don't work so kindly stop it. The letter is because it's hard for her to argue with it as opposed to me talking with her.
Ah Serenity - I can only look at my sitch from years ago. We both went through the exact same steps. Me going dark. W asking for stuff. Me ignoring her. And then - just a small thing. It's not a holiday we're talking about here. Its a pack of cigs, a packet of "girls things" and a note to try and open the door a crack.

I'm beginning to think we're wasting our time here. I'm certainly wasting mine. What do you suppose your wife is going to listen to, your words in your note, or your actions? She knows she can bully you, and you'll jump thru her hoops.
Sorry, but when you've got such a great vet like Starsky giving you advice over and over again and you keep ignoring it... it's frustrating to everyone.

Trust me, I TOTALLY understand the desire to do such things, but you've got to really sit back and think about the signals you're giving here...
Mac... Why is it that YOU'RE the one "giving in just a bit, with compassion"? I think the honest answer to that question may help you get a little more clarity to your situation.
