My prayers are with her too. Sorry to hear this news. Did her husband have a stroke a few years back too?

Thank you all for your thoughts, love, and well wishes.

Seeking is a wonderful woman, who, over the last several years, has become one of my best friends and someone I aspire to be like.

According to one of her children, she is off the ventilator, breathing on her own and eating, and has very little mobility on the left side of her body. As of Saturday, she was still in the ICU.

She has a long and hard road ahead of her, but I know that she has the strength to continue fighting to come back.

She has raised 7 children though, so I do believe that she has what it takes to make a signifigant recovery.

Please continue to keep her and them in your thoughts.

Cat

Cat,
Thank you for the update. It sounds like she is making a little bit of progress and yes, it's going to be a slow recovery. Her situation will not be a sprint, but a marathon.

SA is a very strong woman and I have high hopes that she will recover in time. She's a fighter and raising 7 children has made her even stronger.

Please give her my regards. I am praying for her.

SA is a very strong, determined and brave lady! I have no doubt that she is going to recover from this with the same courage and strength that she has shown over the last several years!!! She is a very special lady!!!
