I did it in 1989 and have done "Team" 7 times since, but Six of those times were in the ninteies. Eric & Joanne and Tina and Elissa have my info. This past winter was my first time doing Team in several years.
I had some particpants going.

For ME, doing Team is deeply enriching and a refresher course, plus you meaningfully connect wiht new people. IT's exhausting but what a great way to brush up on those types of interactions.

Booked T with EE leader, focusing on self worth. Nothing heard from daughter or W. Sent D an email telling about my day yesterday (met the Green Party presidential candidate! drum circle). Talked to maybe a dozen new people. Cleaning MIL's garage is on the task list today - yes, she will be told sometime, but now now. MIL has been unfailingly kind, generous and supportive to me.

Traveling to Boston next week, Wednesday, seeing my folks, and going to alma mater, so will likely be offline for a while then.

You know, it is a relief to have working on my M = working on myself. What a choice otherwise - do you want to be happy in yourself or fix your marriage? Choose one.

On Saturday,, I met a number of people up at a political conference up in LA, which was interesting, and then went to a drum circle and met some more. Yesterday MIL and I cleaned her garage. So some positive GAL activity.

Sent the daughter a text message wishing her a good time on her week long school field trip in Germany, and son a poem about a box of marzipan that he should be getting soon. Nothing to/from W.

Will try to run this morning, which was impossible after the BD.

So it is all quiet on the Eastern front - nothing from W or kids - I have been sending the kids short friendly notes or texts every day - trying to stay in touch while on this 3 plus week trip - is this pursuing? Should I not be doing this? Not hearing from them has always been one of the hardest things about these trips.
