Not sure if sandi still reads my threads or not, but I came across this:

By saying, "We".......are you referring to the counselor?

I fail to see how this will benefit the MR, if your W cannot control her spending. It is a fast way to add a new problem on top of your current one. Why not go together to buy groceries? It would get her out of the house, and be easier on the wallet.

sandi, as with all of the advice you gave me, this was such good advice!! We have implemented this over the course of last few months. Not only has it been fun shopping together, but it did clear up the overspending tendency she has.

sandi, Mach, Caden, Amoafwl, AnotherStander, Vanilla, and everyone else that chimed in (I know I am leaving out a lot of names!), thank you so much. We continue to work on MR 3.0 (we were already on 2.0) and because of this forum we have made great strides. I continue to cement my positive changes and it continues to invoke positive changes in her!

THANK YOU TO YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS EVERYONE OF YOU!

Oops, meant to point out that I had gone back and read my first few threads, when I ran across that advice from sandi.
