Really sorry to hear about your loss. You are right...when something like that happens, we definitely get our priorities straight. Funny how we all live life as if we have loads of time to work with when the reality is that one never knows. I've often thought about asking my H what he would be doing right now if he knew that he had only one year left to live. Pretty sure it would be different from what he is doing now. I should probably ask myself the same question. That's a head scratcher for sure.

R2C I'm holding up. It really hit me yesterday that I can't call or text him ever again. Lead to an afternoon of sadness, but that's par for the course. Have to grieve. Funeral is tomorrow. I'm dreading that but it will also be cathartic.

Sorry to hear that Steve! Was it a heart attack? The reason I ask is my ex was just telling me last night that someone she knows died of a heart attack in his sleep a few days ago, if it's the same person then wow, small world!
