EQ - did you butt heads over household responsibilities or in general? you diagnosed the problem correctly - NGS. If she could ask for help with what she wanted, why couldn't you? I know the answer to that as I was in a similar place, so it's a rhetorical question.
I don't think there are definite lines that can be drawn in the sand. But, the partnership has to focus on the needs of both partners. With NGS, men suppress that so that they can avoid conflict.
Also, you're talking about satisfying her LL and your whole post is about HER. What about you and your LL and did she even meet that?
It's great to have a W with an alpha mindset because they can have clarity and knowledge about who they are and what they want. Sounds like you needed to be an alpha as well to level the playing field. Well, I hope that is one of the things you are doing in your personal growth now.
